Well, his timing is good. He's got a target rich environmemt to work with, what with the democRAT circus going on. The fun and games will be endless.

Getting rid of the Friday only WSJ Editorial Board was stupid - it was one of the unique and refreshing shows of late.

Agreed. I really looked forward to that panel of commentators each week.

Yup, "The Illustrated Man," which he made with his wife, Claire Bloom.

I don't think he will garner much career benefit from being born again as a conservative.

We'll see, I'm betting you are very wrong. His schtick will play in OKC.

Greta is worthless and Miller would be great in her spot.

Totally agree with you.. Greta wastes herself and the network on all the murders and other scandals. Bring over Dennis.

FOX really missed a bet on this one. I can't figure out why they didn't sign the guy up.

He'd fit well in O'Rielly's spot.

Fox should have hired Scarborough and Miller, and left Geraldo and Greta and a few others on the sidelines. I'm still making up my mind on Wallace. But Fox feels hurt by the conservative tag though they do the best of all media outlets in presenting both sides of an issue. Thus, FoxNews, like Murdock's Post, is doing whatever it can to get the liberal networks and newspapers off their backs. Real courage. NOT!

Good for him. Hope he doesn't punk out like Scarborough. What a disappointment he turned out to be.

Perhaps when the pro-life people stop calling young pregnant women evil sluts, and stop constantly disparaging single mothers, and start demanding single men keep their peckers in their pants to the same degree of shrill self-righteousness they demand that young women remain virginal untill marriage... Maybe then, all those who are very reluctantly pro-choice, might become wholeheartedly pro-life.

Usually if a young pregnant single woman is a slut, it is because she got those values from her parents.

Anyone, I mean anyone, who could be on the pro-"choice" side is simply overlooking murder, there is no defending it.

If people want to have sex outside of marriage, and this includes married people fooling around, they just have to be prepared to face the consequences. It seems reasonable to me to place a higher standard of scrutiny on the female because she has to face a more serious level of consequences.

No matter how much money a guy has to make to pay child support, no judge can ever order him to go through childbirth. My daughter knows this and understands that the consequences of sex are lopsided by biology. You would do well to understand that too.

Try reading and understanding the post. I didn't say the programs were worth a damn. I said they had strong ratings.

I've been around pro-life women much of my adult life and I've never heard them speak the way you say they do.

Thanks for the flag!

I have always considered Miller a genius, even when I found his politics offensive. I sure am glad he is stepping into the light. (We can all pray that he keeps evolving.)

He is probably only one of seven people in the U.S. who know about "Pliny the Elder."

Mr. Miller said he remained socially liberal. "I think abortion's wrong, but it's none of my business to tell somebody what's wrong," he said. "So I'm pro-choice. I want to keep my nose out of other people's personal business."

I love Dennis Miller, but I wonder what it would take to get him out of the camp that would have said 150 years ago, "Don't like slavery? Don't own one!"

His political views most closely resemble libertarians, except that he's not a pansy on national defense.

______________________________________

I was going to say essentially the same thing, that he is something of a libertarian with hawkish attitudes on defense.

Pansy? How insultingly weird can you guy's get? -- Take your trolls to the back room.

We libertarians support our constitution & our rights to defense..

The Libertarian concept of self defense is quite different than that of most conservatives.

I'm still laughing over Ron Paul's insistence on employing Letters of Marque and Reprisal in Afghanistan instead of the US Air Force.
