Ten Easy Questions - No Pencils Needed!

Here's two 'free questions' to think about. Audible answers are not required.

Should someone who refuses to assimilate, who doesn't want American citizenship be telling us how we should change the United States to make life easier for them?

Will we still be the Country of Choice and still have our American culture if we continue to make the changes forced on us by the people from other countries that came to live in America because it is their Country of Choice?

________________________________

A New Cost Conscious Plan To Consider

My plan says to all illegals, "Take what you have and leave now because if we have to come and catch you, at taxpayer expense, you'll go without anything but the clothes on your back!"

________________________________

Dear Mr. President,

Yes, I'm one of the 83%

If President Bush or Tom Ridge announced, "In six months the Homeland Security Department will be paying a $50 a head bounty for the name and address of each illegal alien on the US of A soil"

"Every foreign national, no exceptions, captured inside our borders who is not in America legally, after the selected date will forfeit ALL of their personal belongings (businesses, houses, cars, bank accounts, furniture, extra clothing, jewelry, everything!) and be deported within 24 hours."

Is this enough to make the current successful illegals, who have been sucking on the fruits of America for too long, go back to their homeland under their own expense? This bounty enforcement would apply to illegals from every country in the world, not just Mexico or Canada.

The forfeited belongings would then searched by the police with their dogs for drugs, illegal weapons, stolen property, etc.

Anything your local Agencies could use, (tools, snowplows, pickup trucks, light and heavy machinery, etc.) would go to them, the remainder would be be given to local churches for distribution to the needy in your community.

Turn in a name and address after the 180 day period. If the person is there and is an illegal you get $50, no questions asked how you knew the information, no ID checks.

Do all this under Executive Order and tell the Courts to back off. This is national security! We don't need any more judges making compassionate laws from the bench on this subject!

The thousands who don't have a lot of personal assets would attempt to stay here. If hiring rules were changed that would mean no jobs. I think the remaining illegals would be turning each other in to get the easy cash.

If we could get illegal aliens to turn each other in, just the ones trying to slip through the net, we would save billions in law enforcement, welfare programs, unemployment, medical care, job training and schools, etc. in the first year.

These cost savings could then be applied to border and airport security. Any employer who has employed an illegal alien more than five months from the announcement date will be fined $5000 per employee. One month later enforcement begins.

This will give employers 5 months to shed the illegals and hire legally papered immigrants or actual American citizens. This plan gives the illegals six months to pack up and get out of the United States without complete loss of their personal property.

After the selected date, divide the chosen state into quadrants depending on population per square mile. First arrest those whose names were turned in for the bounty. Then others suspected by local law agencies. This gives the illegals a chance to turn each other in to the 800 numbers for the reward. When arrests slow down, open an adjoining quadrant.

On the announced date, start in a State such as Iowa, Nebraska or Oklahoma. Centered, not overly populated and clean the state out. This would give Homeland, INS and Border Patrol time to install and train their volunteers and co-agents in various court houses around the country to verify a persons paperwork, i.e. birth certificates, hospital records, court papers, etc. These people would be necessary to protect the Rights of American citizens who don't have the paperwork to prove where they were born.

Go state to state from the epicenter sweeping out the criminals who have so far successfully avoided capture. They already had 6 months to get out, they knew hanging around to test the system carried a SEVERE penalty. They won't be able to say they weren't warned. Once it has been declared that they are illegal aliens they would be treated like prisoners of war. No more phone calls, no TV, no cigarettes, just food, water and immediate deportation.

We have long had the necessary supply of "green card" farm workers in America. No valid justification exists for a new agricultural guest-worker program.

By artificially inflating the supply of labor, government interference in the agricultural labor market reduces incentives for mechanization and other forms of productivity increases.

This is an area that we are known world-wide for. The "bracero","temporary worker", "guest worker", "migrant", the "illegal alien farm worker" is responsible for the US not already developing a mechanized lettuce gathering machine.

The tomato farmers mechanized their production -- with the result that production quadrupled and prices fell over the next 30 years.

Any rise in produce costs would be short termed as many crops have switched to mechanized gathering and sorting during various stages.

Imagine the number of Chinese, Lebanese, Saudis, South Africans, etc. who would be taking the ship home with everything in the house, buying new cars to take home, you name it would be on those ships. The thousands of Canadians who decided the USA was better than Canada would be again headed North.

________________________________

Cost Savings

How many schools could be closed? How many welfare offices? How many planned jail enlargements could be stopped for lack of need? How many small hospitals and state paid housing tracts?

How many state and federal employees would find out that they have the time to actually give good service to their American customers?

Oh yes, it would be an economic shocker in the amount of taxes that could be reduced or used to actually improve something needed for American citizens such as border security.

I've always wondered how many illegal folks are on Medicare that don't deserve it. I'll bet that would save a big chunk of money that could be used for American war veterans and our citizens health problems.

Want an approximate number of the population drop? Try 50 million+ with the majority over 30 years of age, having been illegal residents of America for over ten years.

The Negative Effect To Our Economic Future

When I look at our smoothly readjusted unemployment numbers I see, especially pertaining foreigners working in the US who have no intention of becoming American citizens and are working in the US as adding insult to injury and ignorance. They will generally send home between 10 and 25% of their paycheck. This amounts to billions of dollars every year. The last number I recall being sent to Mexico was $12 billion

This is foreign aid by any other name.

Something our President said he would not do is give foreign aid to Mexico. I won't call him a liar here but I would to his face because then I could explain my reasoning to him.

When a person sends dollars earned in America to a foreign country this takes it out of our economic rotation system.

When you and I spend $10.00 in a local store that ten dollars gets rotated through at least seven different businesses or individuals hands before it stops the rotation at the US Treasury.

The local store owner might use it as wages, or to buy replenishment stock, to pay any number of fees or local taxes, buy gasoline or food at a local store, pay a bank loan. You name it. The $10.00 then will be loaned out again for someone to locally buy a car or home, or to a local road or home contractor, and on the cycle goes.

When the $10.00 goes to Mexico or India, it does not rotate in our economy, it does in Mexico's or India's though. That builds Mexico's or India's economy NOT ours.

The amount of money that is rotating in the daily cycle is one thing that controls our interest rates.

Take the 12 billion dollars that is going to Mexico and assume it only passes through corporate hands being taxed at 15% not the 35% personal rate that you and I pay.

The loss to our economy in taxes alone from a single 12B transfer is 18 million dollars. When that 12B passes thru seven different corporations the loss to America would be multiplied by the average profit gain of each corporation. There is no proper way that I know of to calculate the exact loss of business profits due to that cash NOT flowing through other American corporate accounts. (I'm sure someone does) I would estimate overall average business profits should be somewhere between 4% and 10% so there's another $48 to $120 million lost by the wayside in unearned income and unpaid taxes to our government.

American manufacturers are continuing to close down their plants in America because of foreign competition and unnecessary rules.

This current jobless recovery or lower paying job recovery is a very dangerous trend to continue. It will certainly lead to a deep recession and a continued of deflation of the dollar. This will be very long and painful to grow out of and will make permanent changes in the American culture and our way of life.

Folks, the day of reckoning is not too far down the road. Lets make our decision before someone else does it for us.

Mr. President,

Why take over a country that is full of criminals?

Because it gives us more control than the status quo, and because the changes you and I want are not going to happen.

If you break the law in Mexico (or they simply decide to accuse you of breaking the law) you will be thrown in prison until they feel good and ready to put you on trial. In Mexico you are presumed guilty until proven innocent. Your family or friends may be able to get you out if they pay several thousand dollars in bribes to the authorities. The U.S. Gov. will do virtually nothing to help you. If you get cocky and start demanding things from Mexican authorities you might cut your prison time short ... and end up in an unmarked grave.

Doncha just love the reciprocity of international relations?

Your article is very thought provoking and disturbing. It angers me to the point of exasperation that our government is allowing this to happen. I blame the government because it appears that they (ruling elite) ignore the concerns of the american citizen regarding this matter, and are intent on destroying the sovereignty of this nation. It upsets me to think aout it, so I try not to.

Thank you for posting this. Many in the not-yet-invaded states need to read this!

If this mess is allowed to continue (and it seems that President Bush wants it to), the country we will be leaving to our children and grandchildren won't be America anymore, yet they will be the ones forced to pay for it. The takers will outnumber the givers = third world status.

Yes I do. And the most mind-boggling remarkable thing is, nary a peep about "international law", "justice" or any other damned thing from the self-styled "World" Court!

Reciprocity? Try buying landd or property in Mexico (and keeping it)!
We should reciprocity that concept toot sweet!

Yes, I know it's tout d'suite, but humor me...

"It upsets me to think aout it, so I try not to."

Not being rude or a smart mouth, it is this attitude that allows our politicians to continue to destroy our American culture and cast aside our sovereignty.

Unless you attend local political meetings and are willing to stand up in front of everyone telling the politician what you think he/she has done that upsets you,, they are going to think everything is just fine and you will allow them to change your community anyway they see fit. You will allow them to spend your tax dollars supporting illegal immigrant programs instead of calling the Border patrol and demanding that they be arrested and removed from your community.

When your children ask "Why does this happen here?", your only response will be, "Because I didn't have the courage to stand up in public and tell the City Commissioners that what they were doing was against the law and harmful to your future."

Was I nervous twenty years ago in front of my daughters school board when I told them I wanted drug sales on school property brought to an immediate halt?

You bet I was, but they started making arrests the very next week because they knew that I was speaking for at least 100 other parents.

Drug sales wasn't on the public schedule but after I spoke about it, nine other parents got up and decided to continue of the subject.

Take a look here and you'll see that I am vocal about the "not too popular" subjects. Why, because I care and I don't swallow garbage easily.

President Bush has done wonders bringing respect back to the Oval Office, but his performance on our border security and removing the illegal aliens from Americas soil is very, very poor.

I am attempting to get the word out to other Freepers about this and have them pass it on to their local politicians.

If we can get just town in America to call the Border Patrol and say, "We want a clean sweep through our town removing every last illegal alien and we want it done within a month. We're tired of paying all the associated costs that go with you folks doing a poor job and our community has been going downhill for too long. So, get some agents out here and get to work!"

That would show if one town can do it, so can another and another. Pretty soon they'll be taking on small cities and then larger cities until places such as Los Angeles are swept clean.

If you would like me to write an article about the disgusting situation regarding current reciprocity of international relations, I will. After we get things cleaned up in America.

What another government does isn't my major concern right now. I am interested in changing OUR governments behavior.

We all understand that illegal immigration is a bad thing. But there are those who think this program is a great way to get a handle on things.

I'm all in favor of tough enforcement, a guest worker program wouldn't work without it. But you'd get a lot more bang for your buck if immigrants and employers had another option.

Recognized and appreciated. And I'm in favor of SaberTooth's 18 point plan, which includes a guest worker program by the way, I just think that allowing current illegals in on it is a reasonable measure that smooths the transition to that system.
