VANITY: The best way to keep America a sovereign free nation is to keep the Democrats out of power!
Free Republic

Will Bush solve the illegal immigration problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the government spending problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the campaign finance problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the drug war problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the nation's education problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the so-called healthcare problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the so-called environmental problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the social security problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the medicare problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush defend America from those bent on destroying her? You'd better bet your sweet bippy he will.

Will any of the Democrats defend America? Hell no they won't. They'd rather turn us over to the U.N. They'd surrender to the French Foreign Legion if given the chance.

Will Bush appoint conservative judges? Yup!

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, appoint conservative judges? Yeah, right. And hell will freeze over tomorrow.

Will Bush continue reducing taxes? Yup.

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, raise your taxes as soon as they possibly can if given the opportunity and continue raising them until hell freezes over? Yup.

Will Bush defend the right to life? Check

Will Bush defend marriage between a man a woman? Check

Will Bush defend the right to keep and bear arms? Check

Will Bush say no to Kyoto? Check.

Will Bush say no to a world court? Check.

Will Bush say no to the U.N.? Check.

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, remove our national sovereignty and subjugate America to world government? Just as quickly as they possibly can if given the opportunity.

Will any other person be elected to the Presidency in 2004 other than Bush (God willing) or a Democrat? Obviously not.

Doesn't make a lick of sense to me to allow the America hating, freedom hating Democrats back into power now that we've kicked them out.

Say yes to sovereignty for America and continued freedom for all Americans.

Say no to the RATS!!

He did make it far worse. By introducing an issue that didn't need to be introduced. By giving Democrats an issue they can run with. They'll beat him at this game.

Four years from now, the voting demographics are going to be tipped dramatically. We're talking an influx of millions. These people are not going to vote Republican, unless you are prepared to give them everything and anything they want. Are you prepared to do that?

It's going to be a sheer numbers game, and they will have the numbers. Just watch Hillary in the coming years.

The bad part of it all is, it won't/hasn't mattered who is in the White House or who controls Congress/Senate. Incrementalism is and has been both parties majic bullet. The inevitable will happen. I hope I don't look back in 10 years and find this post to be correct.

I totally agree.

No, Howlin, I also noticed and methinks we need a ping list for the Bush bashers (read: democrats in conservative clothing).

Conservatives need to hold the administration accountable where they've failed, and praise good policy.

I agree. We keep fooling ourselves. And the more we wait and fool ourselves, the more years pass by, and the less attractive any of the conservative positions will be for any politician to take on, due to the fact all those years they have had to abandon them to get elected.

This is inevitable. Government will continue to increase in size and so will big government thoughts coming from citizens.

My concern for all this is: If we are attacked again, and find that the person came in through a porus south boarder, then all h*** wil break loose with the politicians, who will scratch their heads, and wonder, how did it happen?

I hope this never happens.

The Goldwater president (if there is such an animal today) can roll in just as easily after Bush in 2008 as he can after any Democrat

Not really. There is that old adage "if it ain't broke". Politicians for the most part are more interested in getting elected than sticking to principle. Give Bush 8 years of unmitigated success, and you can almost be guaranteed that the same formula will be used in 2008. Basically, the RP needs to be given a reason to reform, and the only thing that motivates politicians is getting elected. Nietzsche said "if something is falling, push it!" Basically the RP is at a crossroads right now and the only way to fix it is to break it first.

Judges are forever.

Given Dubya's track record with Judges so far, I don't really believe he will manage to get another Thomas into the Supreme Court. I think at best he will manage an O'Connor and at worst it will be a Souter.

Thanks JIM!! It was tough today reading how many here on Free Republic are so angry with Dubya that they compare him to Trotsky or Clinton. I also didn't like the term "evil" applied to our President either.

I know many conservatives are unhappy with some of Dubya's recent policy decisions, and I understand how some now believe he is not a conservative (a "CINO"?) A fair point.

But to see him called a RINO -- now THAT is just ridiculous. He will be renominated without any real opposition this year. He's added Republicans to the Senate in an off year. And now we have some misguided folks calling HIM a RINO and saying that they will stay home, support a 3rd party, or, God help us, vote 'Rat.

Not voting for Dubya is everyone's right -- however, I say that those who do NOT support our REPUBLICAN President are the REAL RINOS!!!!!

THANKS AGAIN JIM!!!!

***On what basis do you make that claim? ***

I make the claim that Bush will be the conservative president you want if you give him four more years because it is obvious that no president goes up against the UN, the ICC, raises the pay of the military three times, gives us a tax break. etc. and takes the country into war against the terrorists if he isn't a conservative.

Now tell me, what about what I just said is against your principles?

"But wouldn't a Democratic president be stopped by the GOP gridlock in Congress?"

Perhaps. But I don't see any reason to take such a risk. The liberal media has the ability to sway popular opinion against a "mean-sprited, cruel and hard-hearted, beholden to the wealthy" Republican congress. It wouldn't take much to end the Republican majority. Now it'd be wall-to-wall, unimpeded raw Marxist Democrat power. No thank you. Vote them out and keep them out!

One of the BIGGEST reasons to re-elect Dubya...THE SUPREME COURT, with 2-3 set to retire...can you imagine more Ginsbergs, and her ilk. You can say goodbye to the death penalty, and hello to prisons being a lot emptier. Plus an over turn of the Partial Birth Abortion ban, which we worked HARD to get passed.

THANK YOU FOR A MUCH NEEDED 'REALITY CHECK'!!!!!!!!!!

I met today with a group of advisees who also just happened to be vets from GULF WAR I -- to a man (no women present), they agreed that President Bush MUST be re-elected. If he's not, then the deaths of over 500 troops will have been for nothing. WHY? Because a Democrat President will either turn the War on Terror into a meaningless police action and/or subjugate our security/troops to the tyranny and corruption of the UN [The guys became absolutely apoplectic when they thought about the possibility of our troops wearing 'blue helmets'!]

After this enlightening conversation, I bumped into the chair of the Women's Studies Department who invited me to attend a late afternoon meeting with a representative from the National Organization for Women (NOW). The NOW rep was on campus to raise money (and an organization) for the express purpose of defeating President Bush in Ohio -- after all, Bush stands in the way of NOW's pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage/adoption, pro-Marxist, anti-military, anti-nuclear family, anti-Christian, and anti-white male of European descent agenda.

After showing this charming 'chair' my "I Stand With President George W Bush" sticker and watching her walk into the door on her way out of my office [I just LOVE playing with the warped psyches of radical feminists!], I sat down and wrote another check to the Bush-Cheney 04 campaign!

Yep, nothing like a little reality check to focus one's mind (and one's checkbook)!
