Dennis Miller On CNBC!!!

Emmy Award winner Dennis Miller brings his take-no-prisoners, suffer-no-fools style to CNBC’s prime time lineup.

Emmy-award-winning comedian Dennis Miller is the host of CNBC's "Dennis Miller" (M-F, 9-10 p.m. ET/PT), a topical interview talk show featuring reasoned discourse, opinion and humor. Miller also serves as executive producer of the program, which is produced by NBC Studios. It's been said that Miller is "one of the premiere comedy talents in America today..." While others are blunt assessing Miller's comedic stature, Dennis himself makes a virtue of understatement, but there is nothing low-key about his career.

Dennis Miller really did a fine job of showing Newsweak's Michael Isicoff (sp) liberal anti-Bush bias. Best laugh on TV. But an above room-temp IQ required.

Have been watching his new show all week. Best show on television. Of course I haven't watched a sit-com or drama in years so I'm no fair judge.

I hope Naomi Wolfe is not a regular. Tonight he seemed to imply that the panel guests would be different next week. Hope the reviews are good and CNBC does not tell him to rein it in a bit.

Still have lots of problems believing that D. Miller, who so viciously attacked conservatives for so many years, is anything other than an opportunist posing as a righty. Guess he found the paychecks are bigger if you pretend you're a conservative. But one has to admit that he's made a living off working both sides, the right wing's being more lucrative. Is he for real or not!

I was also skeptical at first, but somehow after watching him (all week) and especially tonight with both Wolfe and his best friend Short, I will give him the benefit of the doubt and believe that he really has connected with Bush.

Honestly, I think he is for real. I've watched him seeming to be trying to figure it out himself at times. Not sure that made much sense. Anyways, tho' he's a comedian not an activist but I see a new-born adult a la Horowitz.
I hope Horowitz keeps coming back. Remember, he was raised a marxist himself. But lose Naomi "try earth tones, Al" Wolf.
Check him out. For real or not its still some of the best laughs on TV.

FWIW, I think you pegged it completely right about him almost trying to figure it out himself, that is where I really began to see his sincerity.

Horowitz is a much better writer than talk show guest.

Hey! I wish I could see the show. Where does he film? I volunteered to be the audience, remember?

To me, it really hit home to see him think (and not merely spew out talking points...ala Hannity, sorry for fans of his) and then still stick with his position. I know, maybe I'm naive, but that sticks me as an intellectual commitment.

I enjoyed Miller's slicing humor even when he was a lib back in the 80s, however, I found his show more than flat. He needs in inject some kind of energy into it. Dennis does best when he is playing to a live audience.

I agree absolutely. The man has quite a brain. And unlike most liberals he seems to be capable of learning.

He should get Larry Miller on to talk about terrorism. He's a dynamic speaker.
