Surviving combat...does NOT in any way, shape or form qualify you for being President.

..and NOT being in combat does NOT in any way, shape or form disqualify you from being President.

The fact that the Democrats are trying to paint it as such shows the country just how bankrupt their 'ideas' (term used very loosely) are.

Do a web search. I'd rather vote for Dean then Kerry. I much rather had a choice. While your still talking Clinton. Bush has taken your rights.

I'll be happy to cancel your vote out as soon as I can more to your State of Hallucination and register.

So, you mean Bush got special treatment that put him at even greater risk than he deserved?

I think you'll feel much more at home over at DU. Howard Dean will somehow protect our freedom more than George Bush? You're nuts. But DU might be just what you need.

Does it really matter if can prove any of his claims or not?

Not for Bush's sake. I'm more interested in establishing the credibility of our loony libertarian friend Earplug.

It doesn't really matter other than I'd like to see a link to that kind of statement about passing 500 others..... It's baloney but I'd love to see where it came from. My guess it came from the poster or some leftist web site....

The 25% part is correct as he did score that on one section of the entrance exam.. but that was still passing.

Good bumper sticker, lousy point in a reasonable discussion.

The ACLU was asked to name one concrete violation of civil rights under the patriot act and they couldn't. Did you know there is a monetary award process for victims of civil rights violations under the act?

Go play with your friends

You made the charges - you provide the evidence. That's how it works in life, not just here.

If you can't, just leave.

And try and a) stay on topic, and b) learn to write coherent, complete sentences.

That's why this loser isn't a US Senator anymore.

In the Senate, Cleland essentially voted the straight "Submarine Commander" Teddy Kennedy line.

He was hurt, so very hurt, by his defeat. There was a long article in the AJC a few months ago about how hurt Max has been, how it has taken him a long time to overcome his bitterness and to come to grips with his defeat, etc etc etc.

I know Oklahoma wouldn't vote for Teddy Kennedy (aka Max Cleland), and it is evident that Georgia didn't either.

This ignores the real time reality that Bush already if the greatest military leader of my lifetime

WRONG!!!!! The senior commanders and the troops are the greatest military leaders. The President is the civilian authority and the civilian authority only. Only dictators dress up in uniform and play general and this President does not do that.

Where were these rumpswabs when the real and documented draft dodger Clinton was running for president. It's really funny they didn't speak up in protest at that time. With Clinton's notorious record of draft dodging, I would be embarassed if I were a Democrat to even bring up the subject.

Especially considering that George H.W. Bush, the guy that Clinton was running against, was a decorated WWII vet whose patriotism was never questioned by the lefties -- just his manhood. Remember "The Wimp Factor?"
