No you where wrong and I was right. If someone disagrees with you that doesn't make him a troll. If this is the case than everyone here is a troll at one time or another.
This is like talking to a brick wall as I now have figured out in my short time here that some people are nuts.
And people wonder why different groups don't become conservative or pronounce themselves as conservative. Could it be that they are barraged with....CRAP. I have my own views and I speak loudly on them.
I know that trying to drum up some deadbeat story in the 60's will look like a pissing match. It will bring the president down to the level of his challenger instead of the Commander in Chief that he is. If you don't get that then you are idiotic.
You seem to be like the people who didn't vote in 92' for Bush I because he pissed you off thus giving us 8 yrs. of Monica. Get a grip and let the pros handle this, OK.

AC, I see your point. I also remember the Dems attacking Bush Sr. for his cowardous. He bailed out of a burning TBM, leaving his dead gunner in the back.
I agree, Bush should remain above the fray. However, Kerry should be attacked by other veterans for his actions after the war, and even questioning what he did during the war.
Three purple hearts for superficial wounds? A silver star for killing wounded, fleaing VC? These are valid questions for a future commander and chief.

I understand what you are saying, but don't let the President say that. He is the President and he needs to look like a commander in Chief.
Let the 'Nam vets say it or other soldiers. Perhaps soldiers that were active in Iraq and Afghanistan but don't let the president touch this with a ten foot pole.

DUH...I and many freepers figured this out 2 weeks ago....throwing medals isn't nearly as bad as desertion.

I voted for Bush in '92, bro.
And listen to something else. I happen to think that showing Kerry with Jane Fonda will remind people of just what kind of duplicitous human being he is, which duplicity is still reflected in his "I was originally for the war, but now I'm not."
It hurts nothing to remind bewildered veterans who might be backing Kerry just who he was in bed with after he returned from Vietnam.

>>Don't dip into the other guys actual combat experience, because in all honesty Kerry does have a better combat experience compared to Bush. That is why we need to get the hell away from this. We need to set out a plan for the future not on whose Balls are bigger.
The liberals want us to stay away from Kerry's Vietnam record (that is, away from his anti-Vietnam record). And you are asking us to play by the liberals' rules? Nonsense. Beat that jerk to death with his anti-war record, his phony "throwing away his medals" photo op, his unblemished anti-CIA voting record, his unblemished anti-new-weapons voting record, and then get nasty: beat him with his murder of women and children in Vietnam.
To: Dead Dog
is it my imagination or is Kerry the original Tourist Guy? He does seem to pop up everywhere. Pictures with Ed Kennedy, pictures with John F Kennedy, picture with Jane Fondu.
Anti War hippie (with kept hair), JFK obsession, strange circumstances with medals and service, drop out Congressional run.... Interesting guy.

Use the hippie medals throwing pictures. Put them every where. Pictures don't lie. Well, actually they do, but in this case no.

Dan Carr, a Marine who served 14 months in Vietnam, questioned whether such an honor should have been bestowed on a man who killed a retreating and wounded enemy soldier. The Silver Star, at that point in the Vietnam war, were being handed out for a whole lot less than they were earlier in the war. The branch of service you served with in Vietnam also had some bearing, a Marine for instance, would have to do a whole lot more than Kerry did to receive the nations third highest award for valor. Same for a Navy SEAL and personnel serving in some of the other more elite fighting units.
