Sounds like Moby to me, too.
Rush depends on the day's news - sometimes the news brings out something really exciting, sometimes things are a little quiet.
Look for some fireworks tomorrow over the leftist media's insane attack today at the WH press briefing, btw.

What's the difference between zotting trolls on FR and Rush whacking seminar callers? Were you a seminar caller yourself? I think so.

Is anybody out here keeping track of the Moby posters? If so, I'd like to see the scorecard. I'd have to say that this post qualifies. When they drop off this kinda bait and don't even respond to the thread in the first 50 posts it is a dead give away.

There is no doubt that Rush has changed. He's become less tolerant of liberal buffoonery, and that's a good thing. But he's also lost some of his sense of humor. That's not a good thing, but it's understandable given savagery of the left and its media handmaidens. We've all lost some of our sense of humor.

I agree... people have a lot of issues/problems and sometimes the humor gets lost (myself included)

Like Rush, we're all a lot touchier. Note how so many people are accusing the original poster of being a disrupter.
There's no evidence of that at all, so knock it off.

Its just you. Rush is still Rush, so deal with it.

But he's also lost some of his sense of humor. FLAT out untrue.
Last week he had a BLAST playing that new Paul Shanklin tune with the Rev. Al Sharpton!
He laughed almost uncontrollably while describing a series of democRats actions he observed during another program segment!

Why would you think that I have been a seminar caller? I have never even been a caller.
I don't know the difference in zotting trolls and whacking seminar callers. I think that people who call anyone who disagrees with them on any point a "troll" is an inherently intellectually inferior person who knows that they have nothing of substance to contribute to a conversation and so they just resort to ad hominem and baseless attacks.
Even though after over ten years of listening pleasure I now find that Rush bores me, I have to feel sorry when he is reduced to being defended by someone as bereft of substance and reasoning ability as you. You must be a troll who is really trying to destroy Rush and FreeRepublic.
ZOT!!!!!!!

It is you. Since Rush has been to rehab he is much more animated, and more like the old Rush. We don't always agree with Rush(and we can e-mail him our views on that)but he is ticking off the libs more and more every day,and he points out things that we miss. Rush is needed to get the reluctant (too nice, just want to live my law abiding, decent, hard working.god loving life, leave me alone type pubbies) conservatives, and the people that make this country great to be energized and in fighting mode to keep the libs from further destroying this wonderful country. Keep on keeping on Rush.....If I sound rambling, I am sick with high fever, and bronchitis, and not my best today...

Busting out laughing over one bit doesn't overcome the fact that he's become much less jovial over the past weeks. It's understandable, however.

I get bored with it most days and find something else to listen to.But this would be, I think, more indicative of changes in you than Rush ... and don't get me wrong - this is not necessarily a 'bad' thing either ...

It's not just you. His ordeals of the last 5-6 months have taken their toll, and understandably so. He is more defensive, less witty and, frankly, not on top of his game. I'd like to see him take a week off, rest, and come back better than ever.
To: cyborg
Being insulted, called a democrat, "Moby" (I still have no idea who that is), a seminar caller, and a troll just because I no longer find Rush entertaining or informative makes me angry. If you like him, fine, but you don't have to insult me because I don't care for him using coarse language on the radio and then berating some very nice, conservative Republican women who politely ask him to watch his language.

Busting out laughing over one bit doesn't overcome the fact that he's become much less jovial over the past weeks. You put it so crudely. Sorry, that doesn't fit what actually transpired either ...
Be forewarned: I've Rush's programs from the last three or four years on disk ...

He is more defensive, less witty and, frankly, not on top of his game. Observations in contradiction to reality, I'd say ...
