I do not think Hillary wants to wait till 2012 to launch her bid for the Oval Office.

My personal thoughts: Hillary has to run NOW, not 2008, 2012, but NOW. She can't wait until 2008, because she can't risk losing her Senate seat in 2006. The GOP will pull out all the stops to ensure her defeat in 2006. She will not be able to slide in 2006 as she did in 2000. If she is defeated in 2006, she'd have to find something to do by 2008 in order to claim that she'd still working "for the children" and because of this deserves to be President.

Her only hope is to run NOW as the savior of the Dems.

My concern is that the Clintons put in Clark or Richardson as a "placeholder" for Hillary; let Kerry get elected; force him out with new "medical" revelations (his "prostate cancer returned"); then have the incumbent toady voluntarily refuse to run for re-election in 08.

Not necessarily. If 2006 looks like a potential Senate seat challenge, the Clinton machine has enough favors to call in from the UN to get Hillary appointed to some commission, to head up UNICEF, etc., etc. She simply declines to run for re-election to take on the new calling "for the children of the world." The lapdog press will fawn over her then and again when she decides to run for president in 2008.

This is not to say she won't run in 2004. If Bush continues to look beatable and the Kerry- Bimbo story actually has legs, John Edwards would appear to be the prime beneficiary. But a one-term senator is going to look pretty lightweight in a national race even if he is able to catch up in the delegate count (he's still behind Howard Dean here), so a Clinton-Edwards ticket becomes the strongest possibility in this case.

He has to know the big threat to Hillary is Edwards in 08, so he has to make sure he is not the Vice Presidential candidate.

BINGO

"....The Clintons will do whatever they can to make sure Kerry's unelectable. I do not think Hillary wants to wait til 2012 to launch her bid for the Oval Office......"

EXACTLY. This is an effort to derail Kerry, just in case the guy is actually electable.

In addition to that, by placing Clark on the ticket, the Clowntoons hold on to at least some of the party apparatus/money.

Kerry will have no part of it. He belongs to the Kennedys, who want to re-control the party.

President Bush called the Patriots and complimented them on a great game.

Al Gore called the Panthers and said he thought they were robbed.

Bill Clinton called Janet Jackson.

Bill is still very much loved by the Rats but they are afraid of his weakness for women. However that would go out the window if they thought they had a chance at another Clinton. The idiots believe Hillary when she says she won't run. The old people who think the man of the house is still boss think if Hillary can get elected, she will just turn the presidency over to Bill and they will have their much loved Bill back. Believe me, they are actually saying this.

Oh yeah, I'm sure Kerry wants someone like Clark, who can't keep his yap shut, and would undermine his Presidency at every chance he got. Personally, I'd love to see Clark get the V.P. nod from Kerry. He'd spread so much dirt about Kerry that the GOP wouldn't have to spend any ad money.

I can't wait to watch and laugh at "Barney the custodian"
aka lil wessie clark, get his ass kicked day after day.
Won't it be fun when they start to ask Barn, why he got canned by clinocchio?!!!!

I call him Barney cusodian because he seems like he was clean the floor at a rat rally when somebody asked him to stand on the stage for a mic and lighting check.
"Hey Barney stand there for a sec while we make some checks, willya?" "What do I say?" "Say anything Barn, it doen't matter, your not really the candidate, and Barn put down that broom."
