DID MSNBC SPIKE/BLOCK IMUS THIS MORNING?

6:00 AM came with a "Best of Imus" and an old interview with Rudy G. After Friday's Kerry non-denial denial and IMUS's quisling act, I could not wait to hear his team rip the usually straight-talking host a new one this morning. Did he come back live at all today or did MSNBC get "the memo" or "the phonecall" and put the show on ice until after Wisconsin's primary?

Or was this a scheduled break - hard to believe with the entire country (at least those with internet capability) holding their breath over this issue that might sink Kerry. I bet his BIG radio audience and the eagerness of his team to criticize JFngK made the honchos put a spike through the show for a few days until the nation accepts the "nothing to report" spin.

"He's on vacation."

How would he [Imus] know?

Someone tell him?

how convenient. I mean to give JFngK the microphone on Friday, interrupting and shutting down his staff whenever they tried to relight the issue, knowing he would be out on Monday. I expected much more of him given his history.

Flipping and flopping is part of Imus's schtick. He's appearing to be in the tank for Kerry -- a lot of that had to do with Wormtongue McGuirk's bitching against the Iraq war and WMD. Now Bernie's created a Democrat Monster -- let's see how he kills the monster before November.

I heard a replay this morning on MSNBC of part of the Kerry interview. It sounded like Imus didn't even get the whole question out before Kerry said that there wasn't anything to it. If that is true, then Kerry didn't even have anything to deny. Then Kerry was given uninterrupted blocks of time to give a campaign speech.

I find the calls for letting the past be past so phony as the innuendos about President Bush's service aimed at the uninformed masses continue.

How many million were watching President Bush say that he flew fighter jets in the guard and that he liked speed? More than watch Imus, I would guess.

I was bumbed out this AM when I heard he took the day off.
Since Friday, however, his website on MSNBC advertised Tuesday guests.

Imus like Laura Ingram is off today for Presidents Day.

Here is the audio clip of Kerry's denial.

Here, bookmark it!

Imus in the Morning

BTW, that is really an insensitive thing to say. The sick children who get to spend two weeks at his "working ranch" don't want to leave at the end of their stay. Maybe you have credible evidence to the contrary? He makes no bones about his checkered past and he is doing good work with his fortune. What more could you ask?

The Kerry love fest continued this morning with famous plagiarist Doris Kearns Goodman who, along with the I(diot)-man, continued spewing more anti-Bush venom while gushing over their beloved Kerry's Vietnam sacrifice.

Ms. Goodman was quite joyes at the news that the Kerry-Intern rumor had definately been proven to be false and that those involved should be ashamed, but only lightly made reference to the inconsequentially of "Mr.Bush's" National Guard service while semantically leaving the door open hoping it would be pursued.
