Free Republic Tri-State Chapter to Join Vietnam Veterans in Protest Against John Kerry--NYC, Feb. 28

On February 28, at 12 noon, the Tri-State Chapter and all other freepers in good standing (and all those who are willing to obey the usual standards at protests) will join Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry and Vietnamese Americans Against John Kerry to protest against the Democratic front-runner, who has "aided and abetted the communist government in Hanoi," according to Dan Tran,of VAAJK.
The protest will take place across the street from the NYC Kerry headquarters at 373 Park Avenue South, between 26th and 27th Streets.
Various talk-show hosts on WABC Radio have been publicizing this protest, and Jerry Kiley, of VVAJK, will be on WABC himself talking about the protest sometime in the next 10 days.
It should be a large, powerful demonstration of the repugnance that many feel toward a man who called his fellow veterans "war criminals."
Come and join those of us who do not want to see Hanoi John anywhere near the Oval Office, and network around on this one, if you can, to veterans' groups that you know of.
This is not a partisan rally. Although many of us may be Republicans and may be planning to vote for George Bush, those signs should be left at home for this one.
Hope to see you at this important event.

Will do my damnedest to be there but it may be tough.
On a side note I spoke by phone to Jerry Kiley last week and strongly urged him to get in contact with FreeRepublic as he would get strong backing here.
Many in NY may remember Kiley: last year there was the story of a girl that played basketball at Suny-Manhatanville and every time they'd play the National Anthem prior to the game she would turn her back to the flag in protest.
During one game Kiley, a Viet Vet, ran out and forcibly handed her an American flag. He started several protests against the girl after that.

Kerry betrayed the POW-MIAs when he was in a position of power and influence to bring them home..
His family is now making big bucks real estate deals with those same murdering commie scum bags
who tortured and murdered our troops...
Kerry is even lower than Clinton ...for his betrayal of his fellow soldiers...
Which makes him the perfect candidate of the democratic party...

Does this count towards annual Chapter participation points?

I hope you have a great turn out and lots of news coverage.
Hopefully, we here in Richmond can seize the opportunity to do the same, sooner better than later.
