Yes, and he used a different vehicle each time BECAUUUSE................ ?Come on Dev, it's an old master fisherman trick. The sturgeon fear Scotty and are faked out if he travels to the marina in a different vehicle. He fooled those fishies *every* time.

Why the 31st is the question!
Hmmm, perhaps there were break-in attempts at either the Covena house or at the Rochas? Everyone knew the occupants would be at the candlelight vigil. Just a guess.
To: runningbear
LOL! Geragos can't name the real killer cuase he's under the gag order. ROFL....
To: Velveeta
Right, and she did have an arrest record, so maybe they thought she may have been a suspect if there was a break in.
Curious.
To: Jackie-O
I don't doubt Feiger laughed. It's laughable!! Geragos pulls this crap in EVERY case he's in. He always makes some outrageous statement, that IF it were true, his clients would all walk. He's an over the top GASBAG!!

No FLIPPING kidding!! He sure could name him/her/it in Court!! Why does this insuferable maniac keep on doing this stuff? I don't think he's helping his client. If WE can see through it, so can all the prospective Jurors!!

I wonder how much a case like this affects a "prominent" defense attorney's future? For example, would Johnny Cochran be as sought after had he lost the OJ case?
I'd venture to guess that Geragos has nothing but theatrics to try to get him through this with some semblance of a reputation.
Slow news day...
To: Velveeta
I think Geragos is going down already. Jackson appears to have gotten rid of him. That New York Lawyer is now the lead on Jackson's case!

ROFL!!!!
He can "hear" the fish from miles away, just like that guy in the old Andy Griffith episode!
I don't know, Vel, I think the sturgeon still have a higher IQ than Scott does.
Sturgeon 1: "What's that? Scott driving an OMNI??"
Sturgeon 2: "Oh, pay no attention! Yesterday he was here in a Ford Escort. What pathetic camouflage those predators have!"
To: Velveeta
"This isn't much fun".
Oh... my... God!!!
To: Velveeta; Jackie-O
Is it possible that her name came up in a different way--not through a list of convicted criminals? Maybe a cellphone number that somehow had her name on it was one of the numbers called by Scott on that day. But maybe the cellphone number had a different owner on Dec. 31, 2002, and the police just didn't realize that?
To: Devil_Anse
In any case, the woman was in a differnt State.!! Geragos is going nowhere with this " exculpatory" evidence.! And I see he has admitted that he was wrong about the brown van. He's such a joke.

Runningbear, thank you as always...for providing us with information. You're such a gem!
To: Canadian Outrage
if Geragos was defending an innocent man, WHY would he be fighting tooth and nail to keep everything the guy did, AWAY from the Jury Because that's what a good lawyer does.
To: The Red Zone
Actually Red Zone, I'm married to a Lawyer and work in his law office. I think I didn't make myself very clear with that one. What I mean is that Geragos has claimed to have the "real" killer almost right from the beginning of his involvement and everytime he gets any new "discovery" he claims AGAIN that it exculpates his client!! IF that were the case, Peterson should be out of jail.!! Instead he's been in jail for coming up a year!

The Unborn Victim of Violence Act, Laci and Connor's Law will be a hotly debated issue at Capitol Hill this week. Does anyone know if Sharon or any of the Rocha family will represent?
GW is in favor of the bill...guess who opposes?? Kerry is making a long face at this bill.
I pray it passes!
To: Jackie-O
Seems to me the Rochas would want to send someone up there. But the trial is coming on soon!
To: Jackie-O
I also pray it passes. It's unthinkable to me that Connor would not be considered a person.
