Cafeteria plan. Doesn't violate free speech and let's ME pick who gets my entertainment dollars. Watch the sponsors move their advertising budgets around real quick.

I will clean up my thinking for the sake of my fellow countrymen and the moral foundations from which all children have the right to spring from Yes, Nurse Ratched.

As a nurse I feel it my duty to inform you that you are suffering from symptoms of moral decay, and most likely tooth decay as well.
Those symptoms include hatred of good, self adoration, un-natural affection, inflated pride, arrogance, disrespect, desire for instant gratification at whatever cost to the health of society, and your sarcasm level is in the red.
The cure is an entire course of antibiotics that include, selflessness, a desire to please your Maker and be all that He intended you to attain to. Moral integrity, concern for the wellfare of others. Take two doses of each and call me in the morning.

Censorship is the answer, always has been.My remote works just fine. If yours doesn't, get new batteries.

It's gone well past that point, every channel, every sitcom, and some ads are just over the top. I do use my remote and that gives me four channels, news, discovery channel, history channel, HGTV.
Unfortunately you can't use your remote on moral decay where television leads the band and society down the path to hardening of the moral conscience. It doesn't just stay on television or on the movie screen. It's in the attitudes of the kids your child goes to school with, the drugs they take the sex they engage in at a tender age, in the work place, in the highest offices of the land, and in the mugger waiting by your car for you to come out of the grocery store.

I hope you'll understand when I and others wish to preserve our free speech rights.

"Murphy concludes, 'The bottom line is that broadcasters enjoy First Amendment protection.'"
Murphy's wrong. It's pretty wierd when people apply for licensing from the government--then when they have government permission, call that permission a "constitutional right." A "right" which, somehow, hardly anyone has. A broadcast license is more like an unconstitutional "title of nobility" than a constitutional "right."Why Broadcast Journalism is
Unnecessary and Illegitimate

Free speech rights carry a moral responsibility not to abuse them to the harm or detriment of others. If a person or network decides to act irresponsibly, it is the duty of a healthy society to say knock it off we don't appreciate it.
It's the same with gay marriage or any other freedom one chooses to abuse to the harm of societies health.
