New NRA-ILA Web Site to counter Clinton's AWB
NRA-ILA ^ | Unknown | NRA

Newly elected President Bill Clinton wasted little time in seizing upon “assault weapons” as a political issue. Along with “midnight basketball” and the never-to-be-fulfilled promise of 100,000 new police officers, it quickly became part of an effort to transform concern for public safety into a political issue.

In a few months we can't call it Clinton's AWB bill anymore. If this unConstitutional piece of crap gets passed again it belongs to Bush and his republicans.

You must have received your issue of American Rifleman yesterday. Good issue. I liked the John Lott section.

Clinton was a real rat for his magazine ban and the AWB (which is really a semi-auto ban on 'evil features'...pistol grip* bayonet lug *flash suppressor)

George Bush Sr was also a real rat for his bill banning the importation of foreign semi auto rifles with the so called 'evil features'..which later morphed into the ban on any military look alike semi autos....no different than any other semi auto rifle...The ban was in reality a ban on furniture...

Congress was also filled with rats as they snuck this crap through in the middle of a Sunday night

Funny how it is that criminals ply their trade its in secrecy and darkness..and have so much in common with politicians...

They are boiling the frog here...and have proved themselves to be doing that over and over again...their real goal is the complete ban on all firearms for peons...

The elite will always retain their own firearms, have personal body guards, maintain a private police force (even the public one is motivated to protect them more) and live in the less crime prone neighborhoods....

The elite wish to feed the common man to the criminal class...to create a nation of sheep dependent upon Govt. to solve their every problem and meet their every need (however which problems and which needs will be determined by a greater power than sheep...the leaders themselves shall determine these things...of course)

The sheep are being placed in the position of giving away all their freedom in order that the state provides them with security...the criminal element aids the power grabbers in this...they are great allies...hence the disarming of sheep..while violent criminals are coddled...and society of course given all it needs to create more of these... Public Education...the media....the church....drugs sex rock n roll baby....out of wedlock parenthood all contribute to the makings of a crime plague...one which the Govt happily will provide the solution to...

Its divinely Machiavellian... imo

Don't feel bad, I asked basically the same question not long ago. Try using the "favorites" part of your toolbar of your browser. The "*bang_list" is a group-posting of similarly interested articles from self defense to any military weaponry, as I perceive it. Don't forget the asterisk. Try it with and without quotation marks, in that order. If I wasn't able to help you, then try a FReepmail to "Travis McGee" or "wardaddy" although I believe the latter may not be available. If no luck, try "AmericanPatriot". He's a generous fellow. Be patient. Good luck.

Once the page is loaded, bookmark it for later use.

I can also add you to my personally-mainted "RKBA" list if you wish. Just let me know.

How do I get on the bang list ??

You don't have to do a thing. Just every now and again, check the *BANG list key word BANG, just as it appears in the keywords listed for this posted article in the keywords listing.... And when you see an article that deserves to be so listed and isn't, you can add it yourself.

Been cranking up the vintage AC/DC lately? I remember the first time I heard that song. In fact, Powerage is in the truck right now..

Dirty Deeds, and a-done Dirt Cheap..pick up the phone, I'm always home... call me anytime...
