If enough parents are concerned about this, they can tell their public schools not to indoctrinate their children with the homosexual lifestyle. If the schools do not listen, then it's up to the parents to remove their children and have them educated elsewhere -- founding their own private schools, using existing private schools that they can trust, or homeschooling.
Believe me, if enough angry parents go down to the school board and tell them what they expect from their public schools that they are paying for, the board will listen, especially if parents back it up with a strong threat to remove their children if the board doesn't comply with their wishes.
I've seen that tactic work, and not in a well-to-do, lilly-white school district either.

I agree with what you wrote.
The unfortunate thing is that far too many parents don't know this is going on in our schools, and children are often embarrassed to discuss it with their parents.
Parents need to be more involved in their kid's schools and, as you said, demand better from the schools if they find out that the radical left is trying to promote homosexuality to our children. It's called recruitment and it's frightening.

Good! I'm saving it too and hope you don't mind if we both post it on threads where we believe it's appropriate.
I find the radical left and gay agenda to be the most frightening thing facing this country, with the exception of terrorism.
Parents just DON'T know what's going on all too often, and kids are too embarrassed to discuss it.

Please, by all means, post it whenever an appropriate thread or reply comes up! Please consider adding the following two links to your replies:

The links listed above contain lots of information and ideas, and will be useful to parents and anyone wishing to take a stand against the homosexual agenda. Please pass the URL's on to everyone you know.

I just went to save the Homosexual Agenda by category link and realized I'd already saved it last week!
Last week, when it became obvious this would be a hot button issue, I started a file and have already referenced some of those links.
Thanks so much!

I know that, and kids don't like being grilled by their parents either. There has to be a better way, perhaps putting the syllabus of every course on line, an explanation on line of who is being invited to the school to give a talk, etc., and a promise by school officials that they will not give surveys to students unless the parent gives written permission.
Flip through the textbooks too.

I don't know about most.
I think for many it's a pleasure of the moment choice and some sense of belonging after feeling so odd-person-out for so long. Then if one 'comes out' there's the pseudo family of the movement.
But many are trapped and have 'tried,' many have tried fairly hard . . . to escape their orientation and failed utterly--for a list of reasons.
It's not an easy sin to overcome by all accounts. Few people are just delivered by a snap of God's finger. Few alcoholics are delivered that way either.

Politics makes strange bedfellows, doesn't it. Don't you find it a bit amuzing that so many fervently anti-gay, pro-life people here are singing the praises of Tammy Bruce, a pro-abortion lesbian?

Because someone is pro-choice does NOT mean he/she does not have good and valid points. It's extremists like you who frighten people away from the party.

Your little Katie will learn in kindergarten that "Mrs." Jones is married to another "Mrs." Jones - and that she can grow up and choose to do the same if she wishes. It is, after all, her "right."
If perverts get their way, little Katie won't have to grow up to choose to do the same thing. One of the perverts, either male or female will make the choice for her when she is old enough to walk. If the last sentence is not enough to make every decent individual puke and then do everything in their power to stop this .... Folks, just as Chamberland learned the hard about Hitler, evil never stops in and of itself, it must be stopped. It always must be stopped with force and it always goes down kicking and screaming. If we do not stop this, our chilren and grandchildren's blood [figuretively] will be on our heads.

You obviously don't know the difference between being opposed to gay marriage and hating gays.
So you don't consider people to have valuable viewpoints unless they are heterosexual and pro-life? How sad for you.

How many bellicose assumptions can you make in one post? You obviously aren't familiar at all with my points of view.
And it seems you missed the point of my post altogether.

It's extremists like you who frighten people away from the party. Please, oh please, tell me what you know about my viewpoints, and what makes me an extremist. This should be hilarious. I think you've made an embarassing and hasty judgment of me.
