Theron Defends Gay Marriage

Oscar-nominated actress Charlize Theron has spoken out in favor of gay marriage, branding those like Arnold Schwarzenegger who oppose it "prehistoric".

The Monster star, who grew up around a number of gay and bisexual people in her native South Africa, is appalled that gay marriage is still up for debate in this day and age.

Theron, currently dating Irish actor Stuart Townsend, says, "I just don't understand that at all. It's so unbelievably frustrating.

"I mean, I am surrounded by so many beautiful relationships just in my life, I can't tell you - just so inspirational. And the fact that what the sex is (of someone you love) is an issue is just unbelievable to me.

"I mean, love is such a hard f**king thing - to find somebody who's willing to go through anything with you and stand by you that, on its own, is so hard to find.

"The fact that people want to complicate it even more just absolutely baffles me. If it happens, cherish it! What does it matter if you're sharing it with a man or with a woman? It's very strange to me."

Actor-turned-California Governor Schwarzenegger ordered officials in San Francisco to stop their new practice of granting gay wedding licences.

Look Charlize, here's the thing. If Marriage were only about two people, then that's one thing. A legal document can exist in which benefits and obligations of the relationship would be spelled out in detail. No one would care about the gender of the two partners, just as no one cares if two men start a house-painting company.

But Charlize, dear, the thing about marriage is that it is set up to produce and raise children. The proper care and education of children is exceedingly hard and delicate work that takes many many years, and the costs to society if we get it wrong are catastrophic.

So Charlize, please review your 7th grade Biology texts and review the Facts of Life.

She's the "star du jour" for her portrayal of serial killer Arleen Wuornos. She uglied herself up for the part, and apparently her performance was chilling. She'll probably win the Oscar.

So much for her.

Hey bimbo, I bet I "grew up" around more gay people than you did. Overall, they are the most self-loathing group you will ever meet. Oh, on the outside most of them seem so "normal". If you call normal munching on something that may have a bit of feces on it.

America has taken the phony "Queer Eye for The Straight Guy" (yea, it is a funny show in some ways BECAUSE it's fake) aspect of homosexuals hook line and sinker. The portrayal of queers as some kind of flaming happy go lucky bunch. Oh, they seem so harmless. Right?

In fact queers (I'm referring to queer men) are mostly a very troubled lot. So troubled and so self-loathing they NEED (demand actually) to be seen as "normal". Which they are not, since there are not that many of them. 3% maybe? Maybe. But they are seen as a much larger group because of the media. Heck, most people never have met a queer I bet.

I say if queer is OK then put them on prime time. Oh, not the "swish swish" types. No no, the leather open butt chaps types (well, there is south Park I suppose) and have them open mouth kissing each other. Or, on cable, why not anal sex. Right there, for all to see? Why not. It's no big deal since it's "normal". Just like two men getting married is normal.

Oh, you're right in that she's a shoe-in for the Oscar: a role for which she had to ugly-up, playing a lesbian serial killer. How can she not win???? No, I have not seen the flick.

I haven't seen it either, nor do I intend to. I have seen her on some rather innocuous interviews, and she seemed to be quite affable and friendly. Didn't realize she was such a dingbat.

What is it with South Africa? The chief judge from Mass.'s SJC is from South Africa too. Homosexual sex runing rampant in Africa?

I though Africa was the Dark continent, not the dark nether places on your body continent.

Oscar-nominated actress Charlize Theron [who at 28 years old has a wealth of life experience] has spoken out in favor of gay marriage, branding those like Arnold Schwarzenegger [who at 56 years old is exactly twice the age of the snot-nosed brat Theron] who oppose it "prehistoric".

I thought that it needed some editing.

Furthermore, Charlize Theron is part of Hollyweird, and part of the "Will and Grace" generation (a primetime gay propaganda & brainwashing tool). If The Arnold had had a daughter when he was 18, she would be 38 years old - ten years older than Cotton-Candy-For-Brains Theron.

;-)

Theron says: I mean, love is so ******* hard>

Well it's hard for her maybe. Easy for others. What does the difficulty of loving have to do with it anyway? It is not about love.

Nope. It's about degrading the institution of marriage. And loving isn't hard, once you've found that special someone. And I'm not talking aboug homosexuals. But she's another lib making absolutely no sense.

I suppose that I should feel a little triumphant that I have discovered anything that is very strange to her...

When the ancient Hebrews channeled particularly male sexuality into heterosexual marriage, it set the foundation for Western civilization.

Rather, returning to polymorphous sexuality would be "prehistoric".
