I wonder if it's possible to get into some of Kerry's FBI records through the back door by doing an FOIA on related topics, like some of the antiwar groups he associated with. Ideas, anyone?

John Kerry was removed from his assignment as skipper of a swift boat, because in addition to gunning down a wounded combatant behind a hootch (who was probably trying to surrender), by Kerry's own admission he had taken part in strafing runs while zipping past some riverfront hamlets, cutting down women and children in his version of a "free-fire" zone. The pressure came down from some higher level within the Navy chain of command, to get this robo-warrior out of the country before something like the story of Lt. William Calley of My Lai got into the press. If three Purple Hearts and a couple battleground awards would get rid of this hot potato, do it. This guy was a liability, and a threat to the integrity of the US Navy. And since he was a political officer, with connections, get him to the rear. Stat!

And to think that this part of Kerry's life history is emphasized as being positive. I would hate to see him at a low point.

Not to take anything away from Bush's service, but I believe he was flying over the Gulf of Mexico, not the Arctic. He was flying out of the Houston area.

Like the fact that he wrote up his own Silver Star because he was the highest officer available to write an after action report? Or how about that he was trigger happy and killed many unarmed civilian women and children? For someone who was in a boat, that takes real spirit.

JF Kerry's Medical Records release.......

Could be he 'CAUGHT' a venereal disease while in Nam and doesn't want HIS PRIVATE LIFE to be an issue OR it could be some other reason he FEARS it's release.

Anyone that earns a SILVER STAR in combat with the enemy should know HOW to face his FEARS and be able to do something as innocuous as release his Miltary and FBI files. Is this one time HERO now a coward? Inquiring minds want to know!

I read it in his military papers he released. When the units would take their 2 week trips, the President's group would go to some base in NewFoundland, and fly their sorties from there. And .. this was when he was in Alabama I believe, not in Texas.

And .. if anybody doesn't think I'm accurate, then YOU take the time to read the papers and prove I'm wrong!!

LOL. Gary makes some good points. But John boy is the lamestream darling, and those FBI and Navy files will never see the light of day while the same lamestream will be checking X-Rays of W's fillings for signs of some "youthful indescretion."
