The only reason Kerry can make any facial expressions is because the Botox is wearing off.

Re your post #138 - Yeah, if charisma really does count, Kerry is going to lose this election in a landslide.

I just can't see the President having any trouble with Kerry or Edwards. They've been asked a couple of tough questions with tough follow ups and they've stumbled all over themselves. Kerry comes across as a glass half empty kind of guy. Just don't think he's going to sell very well across this country.

"I swear John Kerry has a tiny radio receiver in his ear"
As long as we are swearing, I actually saw him talking to himself while Sharpton was responding to a question. He didn't think the camera was on him, and he was clearly talking off mike. I don't have TIVO, but I'll put $100 bucks on the line that he's either wired or senile.

Kerry comes across as a glass half empty kind of guy. Just don't think he's going to sell very well across this country. It's unbelievable that he's escaped unscathed through this primary process which has basically shifted between anti-bush rhetoric from the hate-fringe element making up the liberal wing and a love-fest softball game with the media.

CNN's Jeff Greenfield: "Kerry will have a problem on the death penalty issue."

Jeff Greenfield on afterwards stating that the DemoncRAT arguments don't make any sense and that they're having difficulty explaining themselves because the positions they're trying to stake are indefensible; notes that Kerry's tortured explanation about his position on the death penalty was worse than Michael Dukakis' or Mondale because it's so nuanced and he (Greenfield) thought that DemoncRATs had moved past that problem by nominating people like Clinton who were either unopposed or supposedly for the death penalty. Then says they face the same problem with their tortured reasoning supporting homosexual / animal marriage.

CNN's Jeff Greenfield: "Kerry will have a problem on the death penalty issue." "So what I am saying is that yes, there will be some recrimination but far, far less than the 200,000 a year who are murdered by the United States of America..."
-- John Kerry, April 22, 1971.

How ridiculous of Greenfield. By tomorrow Kerry will be FOR the death penalty. Problem solved!

The ONLY president that comes to mind on that line is Clinton!!!!!!!
Actually Clinton was far more deceptive and untruthful than Richard Nixon but the media would lead us to believe that Nixon was the biggest liar in Presidential history.
