Did he escape again?

I'm sure we're hot on his trail. he's vulnerable when he's actively on the run.

If this is true, it puts him in that area so our guys can move in for the finish, so if this is true, this is actually some good news.

I continue to insist that he's dead until I'm proven wrong.

I thought this guy had a kidney problem. How can a guy who needs kidney therapy be hiding in the mountain caves?

Heres to hoping the US gets him.
If the Pakis get him, It'll give them a lot a bargaining power with us. It also causes a lot of pressure on them, as bin Laden is a Muslim. The physical risk on Musharref seems great.

Look at how many levels (at least four and three of them anonymous) this information came through:
A local official told the BBC the information came in a fax sent to a former Taliban member three days ago.
The official, who did not want to be named, said he met a former member of the Taliban who had received a fax that said "the Sheikh" -- bin Laden's nickname -- was alive and well and had escaped an attempt by Pakistani forces to catch him on their side of the border last week in the tribal areas of South Waziristan.

Hand held dialysis machines. They're on the market, I believe, and binnie can afford his own physician. Binnie has to be near somewhere where there is an electrical generator.
There is no Pakistani "dragnet". It's a beaters and hounds situation. The Pakis are the beaters. The Americans and the SAS are the hounds. If Bin Laden is on the move, it's because he can't buy anyone anymore.
The Americans must have offered more money.

I would like to hear the source of those rumors. Killing Al Zawahiri is much more important that killing bin Laden. Zawahiri was the organizational genius who kept AQ together during the lean times.
Bin Laden is the spiritual head. He is the Don Corleone to Zawahiri's Tom Hagan.

some rumors that Al Zahwarhi may be dead, Loftus was talking about it last night. There could be something to that story. There is speculation that they needed a DNA match from Zawarhiri's brother.
To: freeperfromnj
did you listen to Batchelor last night also? we were talking about it on the terror matrix thread. I don't think I have ever heard Loftus sound so excited when he signed off with "things are happening...".
To: treeclimber
He's dead, Jim.

nothing confirmed of course. the source is John Loftus, saying that the US got a DNA sample from his brother captured in Egypt (that story is true). And that the US had "two bodies that they cannot identify" from some kind of attack we launched someplace.
