Your score is... 56
51-90 points: You are a medium-core libertarian, probably self-consciously so. Your friends probably encourage you to quit talking about your views so much.

So many of these questions are outer space, I'm surprised they aren't in Klingon. Which those who get high scores are probably fluent in.
privately-issued money, privatized police, privatized law, etc. etc.
Better to just position L's as the "free sex and drugs" party, because most of these libertarianly pure ideas would scare 98% of the populace.

I tried it earlier today. According to Bryan, Murry Rothbard is the paradigm of libertarian virtue. According to nearly everyone else, he was a kook. Likable and intelligent, but a couple tacos short of a combination plate.
I don't terribly mind this. One guy's opinion, and he's welcome to it. But let's not mislead people into thinking this is anything but the perspective of an absolutist with a skewed perspective.

The test was skewed. Only Yes/No. That's a fool's way of governing (and testing).

I agreed with many of the statements but not in all situations.

Of course, it was a libertarian test.

A comfortable 62. One foot in each world, and it works for me. In Gold We Trust, and we know who John Galt is, but more impressed by who George Washington and Alexander Hamilton are. But a fun test.

I got a 57. Note the unhealthy obsession with The Fed that runs through most of the questions. Libertarians do love wacky monetary policy ideas . . . and drugs.

I saw nothing about Harry Browne's goal of giving illegal drugs to children. SIGH
I think if you are paranoid you could easily get over 90.
I'm going to go back and answer like an idiot and see what the score is.

Yeah, but maybe the Fed is a wacky monetary policy too.
I got a 69, of all numbers...my wife and friends do really get tired of my talking politics...though I have an idea that several of us who frequent FR can say the same.

I saw nothing about Harry Browne's goal of giving illegal drugs to children. SIGH Please refrain from mischaracterizing his position. As a good libertarian, he would require that they pay for them just like everyone else.
