A law abiding cop! Will wonders never cease?
To: TERMINATTOR
Not to dissent from this piece, but there are no black cops.
There are only 'DGC', cops and slugs.
Colors, shadings, pigmentation, degrees of melanin and other 'racial' divisions need not apply.

Good man. He sees clearly and speaks the same.
I'd be honored to shake his hand.

That's a great rant. I agree with every word.
Anyone that trys to disarm you is either planning to kill you or telling you that your life is worthless.

Great post!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ex-Dallas PD and I upheld the Constitution, not bad laws. I was sadly one of the few. And so is the Dallas Co Constable, Roma Skinner. A man I am proud to know.

Thanks for the ping, Tom!
Speaking of guns and shooting and such, how does March 20th at the Bullet Hole Rifle Range grab you?
If this is a go, I'll line it up tomorrow.
The Texas Termite will be there as guest of honor!
He wants to shoot the .50 really bad!

Uniformed, armed cops will definitely find themselves in the middle of any disagreement between the people and their government. As the author points out, there are already significant areas of disagreement.
How, for example, is the unorganized Militia supposed to handle the unlawful granting of marriage licenses to gays in San Francisco? The law seems clear but the police do nothing. I believe Codrea came under scrutiny for simply asking what the difference is between enforcing laws against gay marriage and enforcing laws against ugly rifles. The police stand by and do nothing about the former, allowing them the presumption of Constitutional protection. They would pursue anyone violating the latter laws with deadly force, despite the clear language of the Second Amendment. Of this I am sure.
These concepts are related. What other acts of lawlessness are we about to see in San Francisco? Who is deciding what the limits are?
