"she thought the bill was real"
She probably did think it was real... And it's not good public policy to put stupid people in jail for 20 years and support them, if all they are is stupid.
You know, half the people in this country have an IQ under 100.

Must have been, if she thought the cashier would not only fall for a fake million dollar bill but also have hundreds of thousands of dollars in change in the cash register. LOL, what a dunce.
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
Maybe the ex husband gave it to her as a one-time payment of alimony for life?

Absolutely:)

Actually, I agree with you. The prison system is filled with people that shouldn't be there.
No one with any sense would believe that they would get back a tad less than one million dollars going through a checkout line. Give her a verbal spanking and let her go.
If I would have been the cashier, I would have had a good laugh and told her that I couldn't cash a fake bill. I wouldn't of dreamed of calling law enforcement.

What iq is considered moron?? She is right there:)
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
Just my thoughts: If a woman finds $3,000,000 in her husband's "coin collection", SHE AIN'T GONNA BE SHOPPING AT WALMART!! :-)

You know, half the people in this country have an IQ under 100. And at least 90 percent of them vote for the Rats. (The really stupid ones "forget" they voted and vote several times.)
We're doomed. Doomed!

She should have said it was a practical joke. Now she is toast!!

And at least 90 percent of them vote for the Rats. (The really stupid ones "forget" they voted and vote several times.) Hey, if you're physically dead and can vote at least once, then might as well let the brain dead vote as many times as they can.

So let's see if I understand this story:
This nitwit got a gag million dollar bill from her ex-husband and honestly believed it was real.
But instead of putting it in a real bank where a real million dollar deposit could have collected about $240 a day in compound interest, she went to the Wal-Mart, filled up her cart with more than a grand worth of merchandise, seriously tried to pay for all of it with only two gift certificates worth a mere $2.32 and then seriously tried to pay for it with the million dollar bill, expecting the Wal-Mart cashier to have nearly a million in change.
Well, yeah, that's beleiveable .... like a Republican campaign promise!
