Code Pinko Medea Benjamin Flees When Confronted by Doctor Raoul at Dover AFB
Sunday, March 14, 2004 | Kristinn

Posted on 03/14/2004 2:06:38 PM PST by kristinn

Code Pink founder Medea Benjamin, a leader of the so-called anti-war movement, fled the scene when Doctor Raoul confronted her on her pro-communist background today at an anti-war rally outside Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.

The rally, attended by about three hundred people, was being held to highlight the Pentagon's long-standing policy of not allowing media coverage of the return of fallen American servicemen and women.

Doctor Raoul, sans sign or costume, stood across a six lane highway from the rally and addressed them using a portable PA system. He asked the group, which included Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) and some military family members who are against the war on terrorism, why they were standing with those who support the killers of their children serving overseas. Raoul explained how the groups there today stand with A.N.S.W.E.R. and its statement giving "unconditional support" to what they call the "Iraq anti-colonial resistance."

Labor activists Nancy Lessin and Charlie Richardson, the husband and wife duo credited with founding Military Families Speak Out, tried to bully Raoul from speaking out, accusing him of being "disrespectful."

Others walked over and complained Raoul was "disrupting" the protest. Raoul told them to take it up with Medea, pointing out that Medea and her group, Code Pink, have no problem disrupting meetings while this was a public gathering. A while later, Medea Benjamin dragged a military mother across the six lane highway to have her challenge Raoul. A crowd of about thirty protesters formed around them. The mother snarled, "Who the hell do you think you are?"

Raoul replied he was a military family member who was against those supporting the thugs trying to kill our soldiers. He asked her if she knew who she was standing with, explaining again their communist pedigree and phony peace agenda. He repeated his message about A.N.S.W.E.R.'s statement giving their "unconditional support" to what they call the "Iraq anti-colonial resistance."

The woman said, "They're good people. I'd march with them anytime and I'll march with them again."

Raoul turned his attention to the woman's puppetmaster, Medea Benjamin. "Medea," he said, "You lived in Cuba. You wrote for a Cuban newspaper."

Medea interrupted, saying, "That's not about that here."

Raoul continued, "You wrote a book called Cuba, Thoughts about Revolution, by Medea Benjamin. The book can be found on Amazon. C'mon, Medea, what is it? Are you a peace activist or are you a revolutionary.

Medea took off without answering.

The crowd remained and closed in on Raoul. A state trooper intervened and told the protesters to back off, which they did. The media was there for the confrontation with Medea. Let's see what they choose to report.

Thanks for your work, doctor.

Somebody who has re-named herself "Medea" (original name was Susie) ought to arouse suspicion just for that.

Great job! This Medea creature obviously couldn't stand the light of truth, and so she had to scuttle away like the cockroach she is.

I hate Medea with a passion that really is unusual for me. Probably because I see her around here alot. I'ld love to drop-kick the tart one of these days, the skinny little emaciated good for nothing.
Please excuse me.

Niederer's 24-year-old son, Seth Dvorin ..

How come Niederer's son has a different last name from his mother? Some discord in the family perhaps? What a shame.

Wonder how he would feel were he here today knowing that his 'mom' supports the very people who killed him and are trying to kill more Americans like him?

I'm convinced that the truth was heard by some of the pawns of Medea and her ilk.

I believe that too. Lots of puzzled looks and I'm sure at least some checked out the ANSWER website I quoted.

Hey, Raoul, you did get mentioned by the AP!

Looks like the AP released a much shorter version of the story. Being mentioned first or last is good. People never remember the middle of a list, but the first and last entries are.

How come Niederer's son has a different last name from his mother? Some discord in the family perhaps? What a shame.

Her ex is a lucky man.

Wonder how he would feel were he here today knowing that his 'mom' supports the very people who killed him and are trying to kill more Americans like him?

The son is in a place where I believe he knows the truth about Nancy Lessin and Medea Benjamin's motives. They are trading on the sympathy the general public feels for our soldiers and their families.

And the left wing wackos like Medea, Lessin, Brian Becker and Leslie Cagan are sneaky. They realize they can't call our troops "baby killers" anymore, so they adapt to co-opt the good will the public feels towards the troops. However, I wish Sue Niederer saw the comments that flew around on the ANSWER, MFSO and CODEPINK populated boards before the public smacked them down and they found a new appreciation for the military. The two basic themes from the left wingers were that these people, the military, couldn't get jobs in the "real world" do they joined up. The other, absolutely disgusting attitude on the left was, "That's what they signed up for".

Some people do sign up for the military because of hardships, but that's not a reflection on their capabilities, but on a local or family situation. The vast majority in that situation do so to better themselves. The military certainly isn't the easy way out. And I wouldn't stand for any President that gives away any soldiers life away cheap. In fact, a lot of people feel that way, that's why we fire very expensive cruise missiles, expend $10,000 in ordnence to kill one enemy. Because the American people will gladly spend "obscene amounts" of treasure before we sacrifice a fellow citizen's life.

Funny how that's lost on the Washington Post and New York Times. Those were the people who'd cry about the "waste" of $10,000 in artillery barrage to kill one enemy. Well you're damn straight, it's a good way to protect something much more precious. Why do the WP, NYT and CBS always think the enemy is entitled to, no, has a right, to a fair chance to kill American soldiers?

The same thing happens when you look up ANSWER's New York City phone number in Google. It says, "More phone listings" and when you hit that link, a dozen or so other organization names fall out. All of which are organizations that "Blame America First". From the titles, you can tell that not one takes America's side on an issue. ANSWER and the groups headed by Lessin and her hubby are definitely part of the "Hate America Left".
