Charles Peter Kennedy (born November 25, 1959) is a British politician and Member of Parliament, who has been leader of the Liberal Democrats (the third largest political party in the United Kingdom) since 1999.

.... Thanks for the response

"I certainly do not have a drink problem. I have always been a sociable person and I am not about to change that. But that is no impediment or interference with my life in general or leadership in particular."

That sounds like what most alcoholics in denial say.

In watching the way Sen Kennedy (D-Cutty Sar) 'waddles', my educated guess is that Polynarothopy(sp?) is setting in from his alcoholism. It's a nervous system disorder and many alkis get it. If he starts using a walker then it's positive.

Aside from severe alcohol addiction, I'd say he looks just fine.

Or?

...exactly as a drunken sot should. {g}

I've had alot of experience in this area... The downside of your comment however, is that there is no correct answer for the person who truly does not have a drinking problem.
