MARKED FOR DEATH
by Timothy Rollins, Editor and Publisher
March 31, 2004
The death of Sheik Ahmed Yassin (right), the so-called spiritual leader and founder of Hamas, the terrorist group was not a setback for the peace process as the mainstream media have claimed it to be. In fact, it's a huge step forward if for no other reason by virtue of the fact that Israel has sent a clear and powerful message that they have the stones to stand up to their enemies.
Like ancient Israel, today's Israel is the proverbial David going up against the regional Goliaths. It is surrounded by enemies all around that are dedicated not so much to its destruction, but rather, its complete annihilation from off the face of the earth. This is by no means an extreme statement. Israelis live with the cloud of death hanging over their heads daily. They know appeasement in the manner of Neville Chamberlain of England in the 1930's won't work, neither will capitulation the way Spain did after the attacks in Madrid on 3/11 where panicky and gutless Spanish voters voted their fears and put in a socialist government and in effect, surrendered their democratic process and awarded victory to al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups of their stripe. With this recent action by Spanish voters, al-Qaeda has now been emboldened with new power to start swinging elections in other countries where the people are permitted to vote freely, to include pending elections in Australia, Canada and especially in the United States.
Israel is the only democracy in the region and that bothers the surrounding countries to no end. These groups - most notably Hamas - seek to keep as many people under their collective thumb as possible. Having basically killed off an entire generation of young adult males by making them walking "suicide bombers", they are now using 12-year-old boys, women, and even younger children, in part ot throw off the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), and in part as stated a moment ago, because they have run out of twenty-something young males.
Yassin's death was nothing at all to mourn; that he was in a wheelchair from an athletic accident at age 16 was no reason to feel sorry for him. The fact is Yassin was a terrorist and in an effort to stem the tide of murders against innocent Israeli citizens, Israel had an obligation to cut off the head of the snake that was inflicting the venom, and that snake was Yassin. Seeing the remains of Yassin's burned-out wheelchair brought a sigh of partial relief as it showed Israel getting serious in protecting its people. Not only did they take Yassin out, they have marked all of the senior leadership of Hamas for death. Suffice it to say, PLO Boss and looter-in-chief Yasser Arafat is also running scared as well as the Israelis have told him to either keep a low profile or risk being added to the list, which would suit most Israelis just fine. After all, if most of these scumbags danced in the streets with gunfire when the planes hit the towers on 9/11, you can be absolutely certain that Americans would party heartily if Arafat were taken out by the Israelis. You can also bet that Communist News Network (CNN) wouldn't allow such footage to be shown on its airwaves, but we have FOX News Channel for that, don't we? After all, their motto is 'Fair and Balanced', and we are entitled to both sides of the story.
Are there lessons the United States can learn from the Israelis? Absolutely - and several - both on military defense as well as on homeland security. The United States needs to turn to the world's ranking experts on self-preservation and learn from the world's best soldiers - yes, that's right - the Israelis. America is in for a fight that it may very well lose and they need to learn from the best in self-preservation. What makes Israeli soldiers the best is the fact they're surrounded by enemies, and such an environment keeps you on your toes and doesn't allow you to relax or be asleep at the switch the way America was on 9/11. Properly learned, these lessons will allow us to be in the driver's seat in using first strike capability when necessary to destroy our enemies before they have the chance to destroy us.
While America may have justifiable reason to be proud of its heritage, it must not confuse pride with arrogance; for if it does, the saying pride cometh before the fall may well prove prophetic indeed. ***

You forget to consider the supreme arrogance on the part of many bureaucrats in government. I am talking about the unelected ones - the ones with the REAL power, as they stay around forever and ever, after administrations some and go.
Consider profiling for instance. The boys at TSA in our airports and probably rail terminals (if not there already) are drunk on their newly acquired broad range of power that they routinely and regularly misuse and abuse it. They wouldn't know responsible profiling if it came and bit them on the butt, because they are too busy bowing to the altar of political correctness. On the other hand, land border crossings are run by professionals who use sensible profiling guidelines in making responsible risk assessments in deciding who gets in the country and who does not.
When America does - AND NOT IF - it will be from within, due in no small part to the contamination from the whores in the mainstream media who have poisoning the dumbed-down American viewer who believes the crap that has been spoon-fed by the treasonous likes of Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw and Peter Jennings.
You sure got that right. Searching Joe Foss because his Medal of Honor sets off their frigging metal detector. The punks weren't qualified to carry his jock strap let alone his medal.
... and wakes up our primitive past tendencies its totally over for them.
