SACRED STONE STILL MAKES TREES AND FLOWERS BLOOM

Apr 6 2004

ONE of the strangest archaeological artefacts I ever saw is housed at a secret address in Kilbarchan.

It's the stone head of a black-skinned, pre-Christian goddess which surfaced near the majestic West Church in the picturesque Renfrewshire village.

Although the beautiful red sandstone kirk is just over a century old, it occupies the site of the pre-Reformation St Catherine's Chapel.

Equally enigmatic - and carved on an ancient stone wall surrounding the snowdrop- silvered tombstones in the graveyard - is the sword of a Knight Templar thought to be a member of the Craufurd family, of nearby Auchenames Castle, who served in the 12th and 13th century Crusades to regain the Holy City of Jerusalem for Christendom.

The sculpted sword - which signifies a Templar burial sepulchre - and the wizened stone head are inextricably linked.

After 200 years of valiant Christian service, the Templars were brutally suppressed between 1307 and 1314 by an unholy alliance of the Church and French king Philippe IV.

Their political and ecclesiastical masters believed the Knights were too powerful and wealthy. So they accused the brave brotherhood of heretical religious observances, including the worship of enchanted human heads.

At an Inquisition in 1308, the Knights Templar were accused of 'having idols, namely heads, that they adored these idols, said they could save them, and that the heads could create riches, make trees, flower and land germinate'.

It was believed the sculpted heads were inspired by the dark-skinned Egyptian Goddess, Isis, consort of Osiris, the dying-and- resurrecting vegetational god, and mother of Horus, who was the reborn Osiris and identifiable with the Egyptian Pharaohs.

It was alleged the Templars were introduced to the Isis Earth Mother cult, with its promise of resurrection after death in battle, during the Crusades.

Perhaps the mysterious stone head was brought to Renfrewshire from the Holy Land by a Knight Templar - possibly a Craufurd of Auchenames - commemorated by the sculpted sword at the village's medieval graveyard.

Today, the fields and woods around the elegant church in Kilbarchan are fragrantly- floriated by springtime daffodil, crocus, cherry, celandine and coltsfoot blossoms.

It seems the sacred stone head still makes trees flower in the luxuriant land where an entombed Knight Templar awaits the trumpet call of resurrection in the Earth Mother's bosom.

I can understand that. The pagan earth worshipers don't go to heaven, but their bodies will rot and turn to mulch to feed the weeds.
There must have been a lot of dead earth worshiper's tossed there to still be feeding the plant roots. America has more if they want them. Heck, California could ship boat loads of dead dirt worshipers over there. They're bodies aren't good for anything else. It's not like God will want them or anything. Might better just recycle them and save the cost of fertilizer.

Boy, do y'all do know how to hold a grudge. Jacques de Molay was roasted slowly over a 14th century barbecue rotisserie, but he called out in his agony (according to legend) that Phillip IV and Pope Clement would follow him in death within a year. De Molay.

Many latter day writers have claimed that De Molay in his dying breath summoned both the King of France and Pope Clement to meet him in a tribunal before God within the year. True to the claim both men did indeed die within that time.

And not just that, all three of Louis's sons died without issue within ten years afterwards. Spooky!:)

How progressively regressive.
Today, sane people just use thermostats.

The Templars knew too much of the sacred mysteries of alchemy and knowledge of the the lost Teachings of Jesus, which knowledge could empower men to defeat their overlords, and which knowledge the orthodox church suppressed. Thus the trumped up charges and persecution. Thus the battle goes on today, and only a few of us have the keys to the mysteries. They are available to all for the asking, but alas most view them as superstition.

The Templars probably re-introduced gnostic thought via Islamic scholars. Rex-Mundi, etc. Islam was of course a gnostic influencd heresy.

I've read lots of books on Quantum Physics, and the physicist today believe the alchemists were using the holographic theory in an attempt to move between dimension. They were using alternative realities. They acted like kooks trying to make gold because they'd be accused of witchcraft if they were to be honest about what they were doing.
Taoism was around back then, and the concepts of Taoism are very similar to the psychics of today.
Quantum physics and most of the worlds religions have a lot in common (It could be the book that has been sealed until the end has been opened).
Quantum psysicists agree something had to start it all. A "word" (In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God), a thought, a conciseness.

Doesn't anything to with gardeners does it?

What are the instructions for keeping a good lawn in the UK?
Mow East to West for 100 years; Mow North to South for 100 years; Repeat.

I guess that knowledge wasn't too powerful. It couldn't overcome a medieval king of France.

I've always wanted to know how to turn lead into gold...could you email me those instructions?

Only if it doesn't have anything to do with Nigerian Generals, though.

That's what the Freemasons say, anyway. They mix astronomy, rituals, symbols, etc.
I think they missed a few chapters. The last book of Revelations says they'll be left outside of the Holy city because of their wickedness. Opps!

Chapter and verse, thank you, and first, what is the last book of Revelations?

Warning, this is a trick question.
