Evidently the poor boy thinks all children of shady characters turn gayWhen his son needed him, Terry was living with a woman not his wife.
I've always thought Randall Terry was a phony, even when he was "crusading" for the pro-life movement.
His recent actions should not leave any doubt in anyone's mind.

I would agree with that Spruce.

He would make a powerful lawyer and a formidable politician
Well there were the two points that doomed him - a liar and a thief.
Why would anyone wish that on a son or daughter?

I am a father in anguish; my son is a young man in crisis who needs intervention and therapy, not heady interviews with CNN. And Out magazine is despicable for their participation in a sham and exploiting my son for their own political agenda. If my son is their latest "hero," we should wonder how many more of their homosexual leaders and trophies that they present as "model citizens" have lives that are this unraveled.
The MO of the homo-promo movement in microcosm. Advance the ball no matter how many lies you have to tell or how many lives have to be destroyed.
Pray for Randall Terry. Pray for his pathetic son. And pray for the buggery-obsessed ghouls inhabiting much of our popular culture and scholarly community.

Where were you in 1989?In bed. With my wife.
I've never been in any other bed, either.
Terry (and you) are living off his long-past glories.

Randall Terry put the ugly face on the anti-abortion movement that resulted in RICO being applied to abortion protesters. Evidently you do have no idea of the evil confronted.
Had your bishops had a set when Randy was in the street, RICO would have never even come up.
Let me note and send my prayers for the notable exception, Abp Vaughn, of blessed memory, who walked the walk

Let me try to explain. Defending Randall Terry by getting behind him and his response to his sons article may do more harm than good when trying to fight the homosexual agenda. His character is flawed. Although that may not mean much when it comes to libs it means alot to conservatives. And the left knows it. They will attack character like Rosie O. attacks a cheeseburger. If they could they would make Terry look evil, liken everyone who thinks gay marriage is wrong to him, and shift opinion.

You are a moron.
Did you mean a Mormon? I don't care that everyone else on this thread thinks you are an idiot, I just happen to think you can't spell.

Men are a product of their father.
Men are a product of free will. An eight year old child who enters a middle class family from the streets of a ghetto is not a product of his foster or adoptive family.

You know Sinkspur, I've known women who were as bubbly and charming as could be in public, who were totally different in the confines of their own homes where they turned into negative hellions. You don't know what was going on in Randall Terry's home anymore than I do. I don't know what caused him to go off in the direction he did. Utiimately it was his own decision, but it may have seemed like the only one he had at the time.
Guild can be a very devistating thing. Even if Terry felt he needed to leave the home, perhaps his guilt got the better of him and he spiraled downward.
I'm not here to defend him as much as wonder what the driving force is behind folks who wish to assess the worst.
The first article you posted mentioned that he left his wife and may have had relations with singles and some married people. Now there's criminal offenses if I ever saw some. Tell me what motivates you to post this stuff? If has absolutely nothing to do with the topic.

In bed. With my wife. Lots of Christians left their beds, to sit down in front of the abortion mills, back then. If we had roused a few more from their comfort, we might have stopped the holocaust.

Had your bishops had a set when Randy was in the street, RICO would have never even come up. You and Medea Benjamin think you'll influence policy by taking to the streets.
You want less abortion? Vote for Republican Senators who will put pro-life judges on the Supreme Court.
You don't fix that, all the protests in the world are a waste of time.

randall terry is covering his butt so as not to lose credibility with his followers. he's always been a worm, i can't really say i feel any compassion for him.
so what if the son is gay, the dignified thing to do would have been to just shut up.

Your phrase "hate the sin but love the sinner" is not in the Bible. Here's what the Apostle Peter has to say about sinners like homosexuals:
2 Peter 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
2 Peter 2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you

And in a society of Free Will, who do the male children look to? Fathers.

Tell me what motivates you to post this stuff? If has absolutely nothing to do with the topic. It has everything to do with the man who is "anguishing" over his homosexual son.
Terry's a phony. He sends fundraising letters to former followers (like don-o) who remember him as he was, and not as he is today.
What on earth would possess a man to solicit funds from gullible people to pay for a half-million dollar house for him and his new squeeze?
Randall Terry should find another line of work. Attempting to inspire people to his side through the veil of morality is the height of hypocrisy.

Like I said before, Terry left his family for a reason. Something wasn't right there or he wouldn't have left. I've seen homes where one of the family members wanted the relationship to work and the other person didn't. The situation was incredibly destructive for everyone involved. Terry might just as easily as not done the whole family a very big favor. I'm still not convinced the split was all his fault. I was involved in a divorce and to this day fourteen years later I still don't know which of us was more at fault.
Well I'll tell ya Sinkspur, I'm glad you were here to rip Terry to shreds. It certainly shed a lot of light on the problem with his son didn't it. Could you please explain in 100 words or less why the other kids didn't turn homosexual when Terry wasn't there why they needed him?
To: sinkspur
You want less abortion? Vote for Republican Senators who will put pro-life judges on the Supreme Court. Sure. Any chance the largest Christian body in this nation might also get busy?
Past and current history indicates, SSDD.

Let me ask you something. What if I went on CNN and talked about you calling you names, or simply making factually inaccurate statements about your character or personal life? Would you think it best to just shut up?
