TOKYO, April 12 (Reuters) - Japan has put three C-130 transport planes on stand-by in Kuwait so it could use them to airlift three Japanese civilians kidnapped in Iraq, a Japanese Defence Ministry source said on Monday.

"We are putting on stand-by three C-130 transport planes that are in Kuwait now," a Defence Ministry source told Reuters.

He said the Japanese air force planes could be used to evacuate the three Japanese hostages as well as other Japanese nationals who would need the government's help to flee the war-torn country.

Japan was stunned and Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi was confronted with the biggest test of his political career when a previously unknown Iraqi group released a video on Thursday showing the three, blindfolded and with a gun to their heads.

I was thinking the same thing. I think as soon as they get these people back there should be a full investigation into this kidnapping!

...and they have more transistors.

I'm glad (so far) that it doesn't mean enough capacity to remove all their troops, too.

"...and they have more transistors."

Well that explains it, thanks. Guess those Japanese troops will not be leaving.

If the Japanese C-130 are as old and brake down as much as ours do, they will need 3 C-130 to get the job done.

The next question would be, how does he wipe?

"The next question would be, how does he wipe?"

Japan has the most sophisticated and technically superior toilets in the world....

TRUE...

Once "finished"....you simply select a button, and a warm water spray will flush the designated spot on the male or female "body"...
After the clean up spray -- warm air is directed at the same spot to dry....

It is fantastic, sanitary....and VERY efficient..

Many of the better hotels, restaurants, bars and homes have these high tech toilets...

The Japanese are rightfully recognized as the cleanest and most sanitary people on the planet...

Semper Fi

That's where the word "after" comes into play. Looks impossible.
