So I gather this guy is their hero?

A vegetarian who hated tobacco and banned private ownership of firearms...

There are vegans who try to avoid as much meat and dairy in their diet as possible.

They also eschew honey to prevent bee abuse. No joking.

You left out the really weird ones, who will eat human placenta, but no other animal product.

I met one once who is a Crowleyite occultist. She wouldn't eat meat, but did make and consume ritual "cakes of light," one of the ingredients of which is her own menstrual blood.

I wish I were making this up. Barf.

Yes because taking away the honey is depriving the bees of nutrients. Plus, honey is bee vomit *LOL* and we don't eat the vomit of 'animals'

I notice it ain't comin' to Kansas City.

After all, a city with a steak named after it can't be ALL bad.

PETA is bizarre. They are a fringe group who wonders why more people don't join them! LOL

Uhhhhhhmmn.
Yeah, right.
Veggies are typically in much poorer health than people with a "regular" mixed-source healthy diet.

(Doesn't mean the average American has a healthy diet, but veggie's definitely don't have a healthy diet.)

The couple plans to set up in the 700 block of State Street at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Sounds like the perfect time and place for a Meat Freep! Set up a hamburger grill up wind and let the fun begin.
