Meanwhile, over 90 US Soldiers and Marines have been killed this month, the most of any since the war began. Over 700 have been killed since March, 2003.

OK, I'm going back to sleep now. 'night.

I had to laugh, MSNBC just had breaking new indicating that 2 suspects and 20 tons of chemical have been arrested in Jordan. They needed a week days to debate whether this would support Bush's contention that Iraq had WMD and decided to not announce it for fear it would. Don't know why they bothered now that it is old news.

Shalom!

>>"Abdullah said that trucks containing 17.5 tons of explosives had come from Syria.">>

Could They have been SADAM'S RED HOT RadioActive NUKES?

What "Other" Explosives could kill 20,000 or More in just one event?

Abdullah is an ISLAMIC LIAR From The Pit Of HELL.

He Always has to Cover His Own Behind, that's the Only way to Survive over there....LIE, LIE, LIE and MORE LIES.

I think that We ought to take a Serious LOOK SEE at SYRIA and IRAN.

WE should also get MOMAR the Ka Daffy to tell SYRIA and IRAN that the USA is NOT going to Come Out and Play Nice!

NOT THIS TIME.

Is this story ever going to hit the "alphabet network" news shows? This is a really important story and I think they're supressing the story because it strengthens the political hand of conservatives.

Update by John Loftus WABC
2004-04-19

Last month 3 trucks from Syria
crossed the Kaim Cross point
went 75 miles into Jordan
to make a transfer of 7 1/2 tons
of nerve gas.

This was observed by coalition snoopers.
The gas was probably one of the 'G-series'
(Sarin, VX, etc.)

Syria does not make Sarin nerve gas
it had to come from Iraq.

The gas had been transferred to Al Qaeda.

It is possible President Assad may not have known
it may have been authorized by the Defence Minister.

Syria had decided to get rid of the WMD
at first tried to send it to Sudan
but Israeli secret service got wind of it
so they gave it to Al Qaeda.

There now is a black out
of news coming from Jordan.

The Jordanian English language press is indeed not discussing this as much as I would expect.

Wow! This is huge if true. And if true, I have no idea why the administration isn't all over this one.

"Al Qaim" is a town on the Syrian Iraqi border. Where the recent "border" fighting has taken place.

God forgive me. I cannot think of anything hideous enough to do to these bastards.

If you are a Muslim reading this, you MUST do something to recover your self-respect...not to mention the rest of the world.

Yes, it is politics at its worst. Remember, the democrats sit in on all the same briefs that the republicans do.

Let me illustrate an example - everyone knows Saddam secreted his stuff in the country or sent it off to some other terrorist-harboring areas of some unstable areas of concern.

During the Cold War, Eisenhower discovered through classified intelligence, sources and methods and information that could not be made public that the Soviets were overestimating their missile and defense capabilities in public, but Ike knew the real deal. Accordingly and with good fiscal discipline he reduced our nation's defense budget. Now, keeping in mind that senior democratic leadership was also aware of this, what did they do?

They immediately claimed "Ike is soft on Communism! We need to spend more to meet the Soviet threat!!" Everyone is mum on the "missing" WMD for whatever reason or more likely a number of damn good reasons, and here come the political whores to make hay out of national security issues. The radical left is completely out of control, and truth be told, real democrats probably hate them more than we do, they have to live with them.

This isn't just lame writing, it's criminal. People reading our paper are being denied the facts and fed crap. How can citizens make any kind of a valid judgment when they are not getting all the facts but instead get a cleverly crafted web of innuendos, lies and false conclusions?

He who defines the terms of the debate wins every time, and news organizations have been dominated by leftists for quite a while. Local papers are usually pretty conservative by comparison, but the sheer volume overwhelms. Leftists dominate Academia too, that's no secret. And hollywood.

However, facts are stubborn things. Notice the left starts screeching to a fever pitch when they don't have de facto control over the organs of information dissemination. I am a Liberal, but in the classical sense. The hard core leftists today is the most intolerant authoritarian bastard you'll ever want to meet, since they cannot compete in the arena of ideas and reasoned logical discourse, they use deceit and trickery and every dirty method in the book to advance their agenda, without any input or consultation from you, the citizen of your own country. For a good overview of their methods, I _strongly_ encourage you to Google "The Delphi Technique" and "Saul Alinsky" "Rules for Radicals"; the mistake normal folks make is believing that in our form of government and representative democracy that people will play by the rules and listen to reason and seek the truth. Nothing could be further from that, truth, the only thing they care about is power and using it.

Most likely, the Bush Admin is not all over this story because they can't be 100% sure that it's true. And if you're a Republican you have try to be certain that everything you say is completely true and verifiable, otherwise the left-leaning media will jump all over you and call you a liar. (And Al-Qaetie Kouric will sneer at you on the "Today Show".) Of course, if you're a Democrat you can say anything you want and the media ignores you when you make false statements.

So the Bushies are probably just working hard to develop indisputable and verifiable evidence of WMD that were transferred from Iraq. I hope and pray that they succeed in this effort.

That is a good point about the administration having to be very sure about this before they announce anything.

I hope they are checking into this seriously.

You read my mind. The History Channel had a report about a year ago suggesting that very strategy. Trucks loaded with WMD, always traveling under the cloak of night.
