LOL, very amusing. I hope the Original Onion doesn't, you know, er,ligitagate.

Here's a little quip that appealed to me: "Dr. Ravno (St. Vladimir, Equal-to-the- Apostles and Enlightener of Russia) Stasis of the Institute for Orthodox Intransigence Studies in Boring, OR." Evidently they give all the priests some cute nickname like this.

Really a very nice Easter treat of good humor.

Some of it is really funny. I laughed about the report on the decision to return the child to Cuba, posted several years after it had happened. Some of it gets a bit tacky, though. A few things are offensive.
This is from our fellow OCA parish here in Washington I think.

I laughed about the report on the decision to return the child to Cuba, posted several years after it had happened.I remember that one. I liked the one about Orthodox scientists discovering 9th tone. Of course, many of his jokes, like these two, will only be funny to those who understand Orthodox peculiarities.
Is outrage!

Yes, I remember that one too! Of course they are only understandably funny to us.
The one there in the archives, Least Popular names for Orthodox churches, is pretty good. "Third refinding of John the Baptist's Head" or something like that. LOL.

Ya! He has a similar one where all of the Cross relics are weighed and the sum of them winds up in the tons.

I know this guy has his detractors, but I am not one of them. Two thumbs up from the monkfan.
