Remember, Howard Dean left his church over a bike path. Bikes have a special power over democrats.

you are right about that. Hubby wears a yellow one with all kinds of pants, wouldn't be caught dead in spandex and sometimes he looks sort of goofy on the bike in a heterosexual mismatching sort of old guy geekiness that young women find amusing and sweet.

Does he ever quit with the pointing for any length of time as evidenced in the first photo?

Look at how his bike's colors (Yellow and orange) are picked up in his shirt and helmet. It reinforces the photo-op theory, and also reeks of metrosexual, as others have said.

This guy is laughably uncool.

What I'm suprised at most is that the bike actually has a "nut bar" across the top. I never thought Kerry had any balls to begin with so in my opinion he got the bike mixed up with teraayysus...

A. Gay
B. Very Gay

Somehow I feel that if we could see the video of this, he would be wobbling down the bike path.

Dyke on a bike. At least he does not have to worry about slipping off a pedal and crushing something important on the cross bar.

What a complete fraud (as if we didn't already know this). He looks about as steady on that bike as he did on the snowboard. How many "SOB" SS agents knocked him down during this little stunt? Any report of shrapnel from bike parts?

"after reporters spotted Secret Service agents yesterday morning at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary."

Something is very fishy about that shoulder surgery, especially after I saw him last weekend on TV with Tim. I swear he looks like he's had a face-lift. Check out the eyebrows. They look a lot higher than before and the bags are gone from under. I know I sound catty...but I really do think he is obsessed with his looks.

I gotta agree with cajungirl on helmets. When I was growing up in the late 50's and early 60's we neve thought of helmets, but in today's world of traffic congestion and road rage they are needed. I drive about 15 miles to work every day at Ft Knox. I normally pass an Army Major every day on his bike with him wearing a helmet. It does not matter the weather, raining - snowing, wind or sun, he is out there. Tell me he is not a "real man" for wearing one. I would wager he is the guy who maxes the PT test and puts the rest to shame on 25 mile road marches.

Frankly I'd rather see Dubya in his pickup truck and cowboy hat.
