Please list the liberal "tells" here. Anybody familiar with poker knows that "tells" are facial or vocal expressions or body language that indicate that a player is bluffing. Technically speaking poker bluffing isn't the same as lying but your body reacts to bluffing in the same way as lies. I got to thinking about this subject of tells today when Glenn Beck indicated that John F-ing Kerry tends to cough nervously when he lies such as today and in 1971 when he was lying about his infamous medal (ribbon) toss. So now we know Kerry's tell (short nervous cough). Here are some other tells from other liberals that are a giveaway that they are lying:
Bill Clinton: This is easy. It is when he merely opens his mouth to speak. However, more specifically, it is when he raises his eyebrows. When Clinton does this, he is in a heavy duty lie. So eyebrow raising is Bill Clinton's tell.
Hillary Clinton: A nervous high-pitch cackle type laugh when lying in response to a question. When Hillary is in a lying coverup mode, every other word is "you know."
Dan Rather: A wide eyed look on his face as if to say, "Me biased? What an ABSURD idea!"
Okay it is your turn now. List the tells of various liberals that indicate they are lying. I know that Peter Jennings has a subtle change come over him when he is lying (almost every broadcast) but I haven't been quite able to pin it down so if somebody out there knows exactly what it is, please place it in this Liberal Tell List.
TOPICS: Political Humor/Cartoons
KEYWORDS: billclinton; danrather; hillaryclinton; johnkerry; liberals
Speaking of tells and poker, the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and Hotel is due to open on May 11 in Hollywood, Florida. If any other South Florida Freepers want to play poker there with other Freepers on opening day, Freepmail me. I'll see if we can get our own Freeper Poker Table there. I can't guarantee we can get our own table but I'll see what I can do.

You can tell by a liberal's lips whether they're lying or not... if their lips are moving, they're lying.

You need to get more specific. Okay, here is another liberal tell:
Algore: Body freezes with eyes looking like a deer caught in the headlights. Also profuse sweating.

Liberals use adjectives instead of the truth and instead of facts.
They also speak in word-triples --- they'll define somebody by labeling him or her with three adjectives in a row.
Liberals are fear mongers. They often use adjectives such as "scary" and "meanspirited" to, again, define people.
Liberals are incapable of saying what they mean, because everything they express, no matter the fashion, is intended to advance their lust for power by dominating over people with word, and world, socialism.
Liberals are word socialists.

Here are some of Kerry's -
When lying in answer to a question he will glance downward for almost a second before answering.
When speaking a lie his hand gestures are off time by a quarter second or more. For example when he wants to add emphasis, instead of his hand gesture ending on the last sylable of a word it will be slightly early, sometimes in the first sylable of the word. It's a common mistake people make, it's very hard for a person to place emphasis on something that is only being emphasized for show. It's a dead giveaway and he will never be able to change it.

When Ted Kennedy is sober enough to annunciate?
Whenever Tom Daschle uses "South Dakota" or "deeply concerned" in a sentence?

I'm not a poker player, but I am aware of body language giveaways like this. It is an absolutely fascinating field of inquiry.
Another one that is more general and affects many people is the blink rate. If it suddenly spikes, the subject is under stress, likely produced by duplicity.

I think it would be easier to tell when they are telling the truth. If it ever happens...

Hillary lies, often.
It's more blatant a lie when she says, "I PROMISE.." that instantly means anything following is definately a lie.

Clinton's tells also included the infamous finger-wagging, as well as any exaggerated hand gestures (now that sounds gross). Gore was normally lethargic and condescending in his speech cadence, but when he got into a heavy-duty lie and the excitement ratcheted up, his pace of words would increase to a veritable flood, as if spewing more words quickly would overwhelm the listener to the point of not challenging anything. Gore also tends to throw in obscure words now and then or little-known references to both cover over untruths and/or impress the listener by tricking them into thinking here's a guy who knows a lot of minute detail and so must be "smart". One of my professors in grad school clued me in to the famous proverb, if you can't dazzle them with brilliance them baffle them with bullsh*t. Gore seems to be a believer/practitioner of that.

I'm still not quite sure of Petah Jennings' tell. I do know he does change somewhat when he is lying. I think it is when Petah tilts his head to the side slightly.

I picked up a few tells on the 9-11 comission:
Jamie Gorelick: That maniacal grin right after she poses a question that wasn't intended to be funny; Her blink rate on several days was over 75 blinks per minute which would seem to the degree of a pathological liar.
Tom Kean: His beady eyes would dart around once posed a question requiring a truthful answer, and then the unloading of BS would ensue. Also his face would be flush or was that rouge from Bea Arthur's dressing room?
Slade Gorton "Flash Gordon": Every time he would squint and pose his corpse like rhetoric.
