In an interview set to hit newsstands next week, prospective first lady Teresa Heinz Kerry reveals that after she became pregnant at age 45 she decided to have an abortion.

"Twenty years ago, Heinz Kerry says she became pregnant, and, upon learning she was carrying a fetus that would be born severely deformed, made an appointment to end the pregnancy," People magazine reports in its upcoming May 10 issue.

Well, the feminists will love her now: she's had their 'sacrament.'

I was wondering what would be a horrible deformity for someone like Ms. Heinz, and there it was, the baby would be born poor! NP>Not even a shirt on it's back.

Teresa Heinz Abortion Shocker: I Planned to End Pregnancy

Now, if she would have just aborted little John F Kerrey...we wouldn't have to deal with his "I was in Vietnam" crap now.

*nuclear blast*

[sounds of secondary exposions in the background]

I wonder what the *real* story is; I'm sure it
will trickle out in dribs and drabs over the next
week or ten days.

(was she married to heinz then?)

So? I would do the same at the age of 45, which I am now.

"Of her religion Heinz Kerry tells People: "I may be a good Catholic, a bad Catholic or a so-so Catholic. But that's who I am."

Wow...a 3-way flip-flop!!! She just one-upped johnny boy!

I was wondering what would be a horrible deformity for someone like Ms. Heinz...

Ultrasound revealed there was no silver spoon in the baby's mouth! Horrible deformity indeed! And it's blood was red, not blue.

Quel Horreur!

Interesting. Just a few days ago, Teresa had this to say about abortion:

"My belief - and I maybe am very wrong - is that women, generally speaking, do not want to have abortions," Heinz Kerry said. "With the exception of people who are mindless - and there will always be mindless people of both sexes - most women wouldn't want to," she added.

I am 44 and I would not do what Mrs. Kerry did.

"I don't think this will story will do John Kerry any good."

Me neither, in fact I'd file this one under "loose cannon alert!" But we shall see, some people are known to "celebrate" abortion. In fact I don't see Mrs. Kerry as one of these, but she sure doesn't know how to SHUT UP!

A great many people think a cleft palate is a horrible deformity.

My daughter was a cleft palate. She was married in February.

I don't know--for the first time I have sympathy for Kerry. How tragic for his wife (and for him) to have conceived a severely deformed baby. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. . .

shs ALSO said she believed that abortion was "the stopping
of life...", which makes it, of course, murder.

translation : te-RAY-zah was planning to commit murder.

Whew! For a second feminists wondered if there would be a "problem" with Teresa. She had recently made some outrageous comment about abortion "taking life". This should smooth some ruffled feathers at NOW.

I find him plenty objectionable, but that sort of sentiment is neither smart, useful, or needed.

In 1993 they began dating, and were married in the presence of her three sons and his two daughters on Memorial Day in 1995.
