The Gay and Lesbian Days celebrated in Kraków has aroused heated discussion in the city and somewhat divided local society.
The main bone of contention is today's gay and lesbian demonstration in the Old Town, which according to the organizers is to show gays and lesbians that they do have equal rights. Apart from homosexuals, Amnesty International, various feminist organizations and environmentalists will join the march organized as part of the Culture of Tolerance' festival. However, while gay rights has been accepted as a tenet of modern liberal democracy in the EU for many years, Mlodziez Wszechpolska of the Polish Family League has planned a counter-demonstration and wants to block the gay and lesbian march, supporting his rather reactionary stance with the claim "conservative Kraków is not a place for sexual deviation." A big THUMBS UP! for Mlodziez Wszechpolska. Obviously knows evil when he sees it. Actually, Mlodziez Wszechpolska is the youth arm of The League of Polish Families, a conservative Catholic party. Other than this technicality, I agree with you.

Fascinating. Poland remains a problem child for the New Euro Soviet.

Gay pride? How about a gay shame parade?
It could feature themes of shattered lives and variety of diseases and other social ills of a degraded culture, the billions of dollars diverted from medical research for cancer and heart disease wasted because the government and health officials don't have the guts to tell perverts to quit sticking things where they don't belong.

Poland remains a problem child for the New Euro Soviet. That's an interesting perspective, and one that deserves discussion. Although goodness has flown into the former Soviet Union when the Iron Curtain fell, it's inevitable that there was a reverse flow as well. That's what happens when barriers come down, whether they are physical or cultural. I visited Germany for the second time in 1994.
I could swear that I was behind the Iron Curtain compared to an earlier visit.

How's that?

Excellent idea. Could be in conjunction with rallies for promoting the natural family and protection of marriage.
BTW, have you read "The Pink Swastika" by Scott Lively and Kevin Abrams? Details the roots of Nazism in general and Hiter and other Nazis in particular. Homosexuality and weird occultist racism were the roots. Polish people should reat that book.

Personally, I think it pays to remember that the Wall "fell into" the West.

I have not read "The Pink Swastika". But any perversion associated with the Nazis would not surprise me. Hitler strikes me as a guy with "issues".

Nope ... it's something my friend Christopher Story (editor of "Perestroika Deception" and "Red Cocaine" among other must-reads) tends to repeat a lot.

An English priest was chided by the local authorities because he said that homosexual sex practices are demonstrably unhealthy--not IMMORAL, just un healthy.

The phrase "bone of contention" might be poorly chosen in this context.

Some photos.
Pro-homosexual demonstrators were to meet near the main building of Cracow (Jagiellonian) University. Just before that, "suprisingly", the pavement repairs started:

You really should read it. It's highly readable (the first time I got it, I stayed up all night to finish it) and very researched, footnoted and so on. Homosexuality was intertwined with the whole Nazi philosophy, and Hitler was likely one himself. So when homosexual radicals call conservatives "Nazis" they're lying again! They are not only like Nazis in technique, but ideas. In fact, one of the founders of ACT-UP, I never can remember his last name - Larry something or other, admitted that he and the others leaders of that radical homosexual organization read "Mein Kampf" for inspiration and ideas on technique.
Here's a website to get it, along with other great resource material (it's also available on Amazon):
