it is possible that some school councils in a few Chicago districts may be completely controlled by non-citizens and foreigners. School policies and public tax dollars may be decided and spent by people who are not U. S. citizens.

I've heard estimates that the number of illegal aliens -- especially hispanic -- in the greater Chicagoland area is around 1 million. That's about right, I'd say. There are parts of Chicagoland where the Mexican flag is ubiquitous (such as Pilsen, Little Village, Cicero, Aurora, just to name a few), and the American flag, if seen at all, is used as a tarp. Chicago has the largest number if illegal hispanics in the country, second only to Los Angeles. And the hispanic gangs are a particular problem, as they are everywhere, and are known for their viciousness, which borders on the pathological: Sadistic is no ideal modifier when it comes to describing the hispanic gangs.

OUTRAGEOUS! Of course in Wisconisn, I heard an election inspector question whether it was really necessary to be a citizen. Wisconsin election judges aren't even allowed to ask if the person is a citizen -- they just stae that it is necessary and expect the person registering to be honest about it!

I hate to say this, but this is really the only 'logical' solution given certain facts of life in 'The City That Works' (old motto) or 'Beirut By The Lake' (new motto). And those are:

In some neighborhoods of Chicago the ENTIRE population of a local school council district are ALL illegals. Ergo, if they weren't allowed to vote, there'd be no school council. And in Chi, they run the local schools by law. They hire and fire everyone in that school - teachers, Principals, janitors, etc.

This madness of the inmates running the system is the result of the Chicago schools being labeled the worst in the nation about 10-15 years ago (maybe the entire free world). Local school control was subsequently taken away from the Chicago Board of Education and turned over to the 'parents'.

Oh and you got it, CORRUPTION is rampant! In one HS, Roberto Clemente, the entire school council was indicted by the Feds a few years back for funding the FALN! (yeah I know Puerto ricans are Americans, but the point's the same)
