There was NEVR a mention of stolen passports in the legit media.
Get a grip on reality.
Military officials locked down Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base for security reasons after two men were detained for questioning.
Two Israeli men working for a moving-and-storage company attempted to enter the base about 10:30 a.m. Friday to pick up some items in base housing, said base spokesman Ed Buczek.
One of them was unable to provide security personnel with proper credentials, so base personnel and bomb-sniffing dogs inspected the van.
"The military dogs were alerted to a scent in the cab of the truck," Buczek said. "Guards closed access to the base and notified the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service."
St. Marys police closed access to an area one-half mile surrounding the base and called in a bomb squad, Buczek said.
Nothing was found in the van, but both men, whose names were not released, were later taken into custody by federal immigration officers for possible deportation, he said.
Kings Bay is near Sea Island, which will host the G-8 Summit next month.
Reviewing this old thread, I am sorry to have to look at a mentality which I despise.
It is all around us. "Must be the Jews up to no good as usual."
Stupid and lame.
What sticks in my mind, is that our real enemy, Islamofacists, are clever and conniving enough to present themselves as Jewish, I believe the Sheriff of Unicoi caught them before they could bust ugly.
Think about this - you recruit and train operatives who are just clean cut kids; get into our country, however; no criminal record at all; just to do the one big score.
Like a bomb at the NFS in Erwin, Tennessee.
Could well be. And there's more to the trend:
Bomb fears over 2 Mideast men discounted
By MIKE BARBER
SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER REPORTER
An investigation into whether two Middle Eastern men taken into custody on Whidbey Island last week were bomb-toting terrorists or not has gone to the dogs.
That's a Navy bomb-sniffing dog from Whidbey Island Naval Air Station -- home of the Prowler electronic warfare jets and spy planes -- and a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms-trained dog owned by the King County Sheriff's Office.
The first dog "showed interest" in a rental truck in which two men identified as possible Israeli nationals were riding, hauling furniture to an Oak Harbor buyer. The second dog smelled nothing suspicious.
The identities of the two men, who were still being detained in Blaine yesterday, were confirmed by the Immigration and Naturalization Service as Elan Ifrah and Ben Yar Moti, possible Israeli nationals.
Whether they are Jewish or Arab Israelis remained unknown.
The FBI and other agencies that originally checked out the two for possible terrorist activity, however, have pulled out. And the Navy says it is not alarmed.
"We considered it not to be a credible threat after taking all the information into consideration between the Border Patrol, the FBI, BATF, our own Navy investigators, and local law enforcement," said Kim Martin, spokeswoman for Whidbey Island Naval Air Station.
The investigation is being handled by the INS.
"We are not investigating them for anything other than visa overstays," INS spokesman Garrison Courtney said yesterday. "They are being looked at for working without proper documentation."
The case, which has drawn international attention, largely through the reporting of a cable news television station, unfolded like this:
Shortly after midnight May 7, the two men were stopped by an Oak Harbor patrol officer for speeding. They were driving a large, single-axle, empty Budget rental truck from Los Angeles.
The Oak Harbor officer grew suspicious and contacted the U.S. Border Patrol when one of the men produced only an international driver's license and an expired visa, and the second man, who was later found to be in the country illegally, produced nothing.
A federal sources close to the investigation, who declined to be named, said an alibi the men gave, that they had delivered furniture to a woman in the Oak Harbor area, has since checked out.
You must understand that I never said they worked together. Reread my post. I really don't want to type it again.
Well that is three seperate locations this has happened in MAY, 2004--- Unicoi, TN; New Mexico or Arizona article; Yours in Kings Bay, GA.. ...ALL IN SAME MONTH. Something does not jive here don't you think. I wonder how many completed their mission in other states (whatever it was) undetected. Doesn't this throw up a red flag to other FREEPERS??
