A few seconds after Nick Berg is pushed over and the knife put to his neck the clock skips from 2:44:12 to 2:45:47 during the throat cutting. 1:35 of clumsy hacking and screaming were edited out. Islam requires a sharp knife and quick kill but this was not.

The sound runs 5 to 7 seconds ahead of the video. That is why the yelling starts before anyone moves. The reader audibly clears his throat at 2:42:32 but covers his mouth at 2:42:38.

I've seen unedited videos of such beheadings, and this one, or at least the version I saw, was definitely edited. What you don't see are his struggles and gurglings as the knife cuts through his flesh while he is still conscious; you don't see the spurting and gushing of torrents of blood as the major veins and arteries are severed. For most of this sequence he is already unconscious from blood loss.

I created a new project and imported the file into MS’s movie maker. I am not sure how MM splits up the different clips, but it separated the file into 28 different clips. Their lengths vary from 1 sec to 1 minute 20 seconds. Viewing each clip alone the voices are out of sync through out. On the last clip that will not play in media player is the head lying on the body with the eyes closed.

I heard that they cut his genitals off (when his body was found they were missing) - Is it possible they did this first and then cut his head off? (sorry to be gross, but that is what was reported some where - that his genitals were removed when they found his body)

I went to a Stand-Up Comic show on Friday. The comic asked who was in the military. I indicated that I served 6 years as a Recon Scout in an Air/Cav unit.

He was going to comment some liberal drivel, but stopped in the middle of his diatribe to ask me if I would have done that to these prisoners.

"No."

"Then, what would you have done?"

"I would have shot them."

Half the club was silent, but I heard several Hooahs from behind me.

We need to remember that many of these prisoners are among the 54 in the Deck of Cards, and do not deserve such gentle treatment as panties on their heads. However, we are a humane nation and nekkid pyramids are down-right funny...THanks to Larry the Cable Guy for the reminder.

I showed this video to a person I know who was, by marriage, involved for many years in the Arab community. This person was of course appalled. This person had been telling me for years about the mentality of the people from that part of the world (this person lived there for a time). This persons final comment was "we need to kill these people, all of them..".

Note, I do not subscribe to this thinking, however, I AM for exterminating the 10% or so of them who are agree with these murderous perverted bastards.

Unfortunately, before this is over you will agree with your friend -- mostly because Americans, in general, will not get a clue until this is happening on every street corner, every day.

CBS "News" also claimed that the beheading was quick. Obviously, anyone who watches the video can see that it was not. And, once you observe the time stamping is off and that the act took as long as it really did, one quickly becomes aware of the true torture that this young man had to deal with.
