These "kids" are the product of Islam. How much more must we take before we realize that the so called "good Iraqi" is a cowed Islamic who will remain silent when he knows who the whackos are?
These Muslims shot up a fuel convoy? OK, forget fuel for Iraq - nuke 'em until they glow in the dark. Think of the fuel they will save by not using those nasty old fossil fuel powered street lights.
Do it TO the children! :)
Summary:
well given that being a porniac and a brainiac are not mutually exclusive traits, i am going to give you the benefit of the doubt...
I agree.
I'd love to see a couple of these towelheads get whacked by a snipers rifle while they're doing their "victory" dance on top of a burning US truck.
I think it'd send a strong message to the remaining camel-jockeys not to get too excited the next time you blow up an unarmed fuel truck...or else you may find your brains splattered all over the road.
Ping.
Thank you...I...think...:-)
incredible!
This soldiers one mistake?
The seven-year old was holding his weapon upside down by the magazine, and the ten-year old was firing three rounds at a time at me. His first round hit the driver's side windshield on the truck - right next to my head. I turned around to grab my gun, and when I did, he shot me two more times in the back; the rounds went through me and into the cab of the truck.I grabbed my weapon, jumped out, and fired two rounds over their heads; I didnt want to shoot them - they were just l'il kids.
Please read.
Bring tissue.
Heartbreaking first-hand account of our good guys, and our enemies, in action.
For our civilians in harm's way - "non-combatants" - who are not allowed to carry weapons, know that Gen. Sanchez doesn't agree with that 'rule' - expect to be armed - at will, soon.

We left the gates of Anaconda in Iraq about 10 a.m. The convoy was going fine and it was almost a regular day in Iraq.....Next thing I know, the truck about a hundred meters in front of us blows up right in front of us.
It was unlike anything I have ever seen in my life. We were in the middle of Baghdad on a main highway being attacked; there were buildings all around us, and people in the buildings firing weapons at us. I looked off to the left at a frontage road and I saw nine cars in rows of three. There was a line of women in front of all the cars, and some of them had children with them. I thought they were just watching us get attacked, and then men started popping up behind them firing at us - they were using the women as shields!!
Pussies, all of them.
I do hope that we have changed the way we protect convoys since this incident.
I think we should put some FemiNazis on the hoods of the trucks to protect our guys!
In a circumstance like this, the adults are not noncombatants, and are probably forcing the children to stay.
I say put a bullet right between their eyes. Maybe L'll Achmed will get out of Dodge when he sees Momma's head explode.
Also, kid or no kid, someone shooting at me gets shot.
It took some of our people a trip up a river to learn this, others didnt need to learn.
At the time more security wasn't needed.
Bump1
I've read of a truck being lost and a convoy being attacked but I never read of an entire convoy of 25 trucks being lost. What's the deal? Anyone got a link to the media report of this battle?
A good summation of combat vs service support troops...
Support troops are generally issued only a basic load of ammo - 100 rounds. We played hell trying to get more, even when we were being hit and taking casualties every mission.
The sad fact is this is happening every day here in Iraq. The IED Improvized Explosive Device threat is unreal. Almost every convoy receives fire or mortor attack. Are there good things happening here Yes. But the American soldier in my view is not being supported in a fashion in which he deserves. IE Armored up Humvees and armored transport trucks with escorts. Everything is made up on the fly as best can be soldier engineered. I am a Bush supporter I voted for the guy but I think we called an end to the war push way to soon. I think you must make a country and it's people beg for mercy or you will never be able to control the country enough to acheive your aims.
Why wasn't the attack anticipated and more security posted with the convoy in the first place? Just curious.
Long ago I often asked myself that question. If the intelligence briefing said to expect a few mines and snipers, we assumed at least a battalion of VC regulars.
Good intelligence for the local level aint that easy to get compared to enemy intentions at the theater level.
Uh, yes it was.
