Interesting.
Now they are identified as members of Saddam's little group of terrorists. Didn't they identify themselves as Al Qaeda?
Are we sure this time?
Paging Lynnie England, paging Lynnie England...
That's great news -- thanks for the post.
Look for the mainstream media to yawn and minimize this news -- they're more worried about panties on the head, and Nick Berg doesn't fit their script.
This time? They were arrested a week ago. Sounds like the first story was probably legit.
Again?
Do we get to ask them "pretty please" if they know anything?
how do we know they were four of them and why isn't zowacowifuftevgcu one of the guys and are these four guys zowacowiufbrdegshdk threw out to be caught so he could get away? ....... i don't believe it
Iraqi police? Most likely four people yanked off the street so that the real culprits will get away with it.
Definitely. I think they are members of both groups.
maybe there is no difference.
Very interesting.
But here's the spin that will inevitable come from the left:
"They joined up AFTER the invasion."
Completely ignoring the fact that 1) Al-Zaqawi had been a frequent resident of Husseins Iraq (in BAGHDAD) for years. Most recently running there after we invaded Afghanistan and he's been there ever since. 2) Terrorists don't wear uniforms or have and identifying marks, they don't broadcast that they are terrorists and in order for them to find each other there had to be a pre-existing communication procedure AND a bit of trust built up which would indicate to anyone with a hint of common sense and objectivity that they already knew each other fairly well.
I hope we don't put panties on their heads. That would be an atrocity. They deserve nothing less than a good shampoo and condition. Along with a well deserved manicure and pedicure. There better be plasma tvs in their suites as well or we will be pissed. When is the DNC sending an attorney to help them? Will there be a legal defense fund set up by Barney Frank and John Kerry? Will Jesse Jackson try to negotiate their release? What about their healthcare? Who will feed their children? Did Bush cause them to lose their jobs? What did WE do to cause these innocent men to kill? Did Berg hurt their feelings? We need an investigation.
Definitely that will be the spin.
A link to all the contacts OBL had with Saddam:

I was being sarcastic and took the tone of a flippant left-wing editor who undoubtedly saw this story a week ago and shrugged it off.
I should have been a little clearer. My bad. Need coffee.
Fox News just reported that they talked to someone in the Coalition Authority. The four were detained, not arrested. Two have been released and two remain detained in connection with Berg's murder.
Watch the mods move the thread to chat.
That's what they did last time the story was reported.
Anybody have a problem with torturing these guys to get info on Zarqawi?
