Orthodox Christians killing Catholics, Jews and Muslims to the last man, woman and children, wherever they could find them. Once again, raping, looting and killing was commonplace(ex-Yugoslavia, 1992-1994)

Again, what were those numbers? What about France's slaughter in Algeria? Or France's acts in Vietnam. And those were socialisttic French govts, hardlyChr5istian

Sure it is -- go feed your "Islam is the religion of peace" bullsh!t to the victims of 9-11 and their survivors and see what sort of reaction you get.

The victims of 9/11 were a minuscule drop in the ocean, 10s of thousands get killled by slammies each year in the Sudan, Nigeria, indonesia, pakistan, the Phillipines, etc.

As far as I am concerned, anyone in America who believes that "Islam as a whole is a wonderful religion that stresses obedience to God's will, prayer, and compassion" can move to a Muslim country today. They will find out very quickly how "peaceful" their Islamic brothers and sisters are, particularly if they wish to practice any other religion!

ping on that.

Yes it can - as it once was.

When? Where? In conquered lands where non-muslims were made to be slaves?

You would have a point if:

1. You could point out examples of islamic countries today that are full of peace and tolerance. But there are none. When islam takes over, non mulsims are brutally crushed. Turkey may be the best example except they ban islamic parties from running for or holding political office.

2. At no time in the history of islam has islam been "peaceful." Even its very beaconing was one of conquests and brutality.

I know it is hard to believe, but at one point in history, the countries of Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Turkey and Iraq had large populations of Christians. These countries were peacefully converted to Christianity by word of mouth.

They were conquered by Muslim armies (along with all of North Africa and Spain) and forcibly converted to Islam by the sword (conversion or death).

The spread of Islam has always been an armed invasion.

Muslims were sometimes welcomed by the Christian population because those populations were considered heretics for their beliefs and under threat of death by the Catholic Church. But as time went on more and more restrictions were heaped on the "Dhimmis or non-muslims", and, although technically regarded as "People of the Book" and permitted to practiced their religion in private, unlike other faiths which were given the alternative of death or conversion, Dhimmis suffered cruel discrimination. They couldn't participate in government, they were forbidden to carry arms, they couldn't testify against a Muslim, the could be enslaved while a Muslim could not, they could not make improvements on the exterior of their churches or synagogues, they had to wear a distinguishing badge marking them as Dhimmis, they couldn't practice their religion in public, they were forbidden under pain of death from converting or attempting to convert Muslims, and were subjugated to the same periodic pograms Jews in Europe enjoyed.

In today's Wahhabist Saudi Arabia, other religions, even other forms of Islam, are simply and totally forbidden. So things have hardly improved.

Islam was born in violence and has spread only through violence. The conversion rate TO Islam from other belief systems is only 2-3% of Muslims, maybe less.

You need to wake up.

Are you going to say these never took place ?

Are you going to say that these acts were the norm or ARE the norm? and then are you going to tell me slammie attacks are NOT the norm? Look at Saudi A, Yemen, Kuwait, Egypt, etc. where to convert is to die. Is that true in Croatia, Serbia, Germany, etc?

I agree Cronos. Nazis weren´t Christian, they wanted to replace religion with their pseudo-ancient-Germanic-roots-cult. They actually tolerated Christians in very small areas of society, true Christians (not the "German Christs Organisation") were watched by the Gestapo and many of them have been arrested (and killed in KZ´s, just like Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the most prominent victim).
While in todays Germany ceremonial services for VIPs are held on big state events* (just like the election of a new President last Sunday), the Nazis did no such things. They never honored God, they only honored the Führer.
I´m not sure, but I doubt that the oath soldiers and officials had to swear ended with "So help me God." as it does today*.

*Note: since there´s freedom of religion no state official, soldier or politician has to say "So help me God." or attend to services. But it´s very common to do so.

Islam as a whole is a wonderful religion that stresses obedience to God's will, prayer, and compassion.

Actually Islam is hate-filled screed that stress fear of Allah. Love, the central theme of Christianity is never mentioned. There is no free-will in Islam, destiny is predetermined by Allah the sadist God, that damns 999 out of 1000 people to hell, which is vividly described in verse after verse, while they are still in the womb. Martyrdom for Allah is therefore about the only way to get to "Heaven". Islamic heaven consists of wanton debauchery and indiscriminate sexual perversion.

There is no similiarity between the Koran and the Hebrew bible. Mohammad plagarized certain stories but they are twisted, often violently, into nonsense.

You are operating under the misrepresentations of the clueless Western media and the deliberately deceptive Muslim propoganda, see my post here:

For the full truth about Islam from an expert see here:

http://www.prophetofdoom.net

Islam is evil, inspired by Lucifer and dedicated to the subjection of this world. We are not fighting 1 billion people, we are fighting an evil idealogy that has enslaved over a billion people, the most evil idealogy I would argue. Communism and Fascism are drops in the bucket compared to Islam.

the most heinous crimes are committed by people who disguise their earthly ambitions and personal prejudice behind religious or patriotic color

True, that is what Mo did. And Mo created his own cult to create his empire.

That was Mosaic Law. Christ ended the Mosaic Law. Christians do not follow the Mosaic Law (Old Testament books of law) but rather follow the law of Christ (Teachings in New Testament.

I said a Christian nation, because it was Christians who elected the Nazis to power. Christians, who lived under this state. Some protested and got jailed or executed, most watched passively, and some actively helped. The same thing happened in France - some Catholics went into the resistance, most watched passively, and some actively helped the Nazis tracking the Jews.

Look, I really don't like it anymore than you, and I don't get any perverse pleasure out of it, but these are facts. I can assure you that to me, it will never excuse or atone any present or future attacks on Christian. I'm just saying we Christians should also see the straw in our eye and make sure we don't make the same mistakes.

No, Islam is the posthumous remains of a seventh century personality cult that was used to cover the the savage and bloody sins of the conqueror Mohammed.

If Mohammed was alive today we'd have no trouble identifying him as a tyrant and a terrorist.

Islam is terroristic and tyrannical at its root, and that will never change.

Terror and savagery are the inevitable fruits of such a tree, and ripen faithfully in their seasons.

The true message of religion is, in my own and humble opinion and as I see it, to give people and society a higher goal, and to reveal what's good within us. Christianity is not a religion of hatred, it is supposed to be a religion of love. Is it presently taught as such ? Yes, definitely. Was it always taught like that ? Sorry, but no.

Religion is to bring us closer to God. You're right, Christianity is a religion of love. Was it always taught like that. YES.

Even during theCrusades when Christians were trying to save fellow Christianns from slammmies, was christianity taught as a religion of Hate? NO.

Don't falll for hte lies. Christianitry has always condemned violence.

Absolutely - these things are not the central message, and Christianty is not about burning people alive because they committed incest or stoning unruly children to death to prove they should respect their father.

Now you get it. That is NOT the central message of Christianity. But is "Killl the infidels" the central message of Mo? YES.

Question -- have you read the Koran?

You could find many examples, just as horrifying, of Christian communities or countries making a massacre of Muslims, Jews, and other Christians. Does that make Christianty a criminal religion ? Are these killings ordered by God, G-d or Allah, or are they ordered by mortal men who find in religion a useful tool to further their own very earthly goals ?

Name any atrocity committed by self-described Christians, and you will not only fail to find that atrocity supported by the words of Christ, you will likely find the atrocity condemned by His words.

Now, try that excercise with Mohammedan atrocities and the words of Mohammed.

Start with my tagline. Think: Nicholas Berg.
