The American College of Pediatricians has recently come out with a paper discouraging the rearing of children in homosexual households.
The report, "Homosexual Parenting: Is It Time For Change?" cites studies showing that children who are reared in traditional two-parent homes are "more likely to thrive emotionally, mentally, and physically in a home with two heterosexual parents versus a home with a single parent."
The report notes that "...current studies that appear to indicate neutral to favorable results from homosexual parenting have critical flaws such as non-longitudinal design, lack of proper controls, and failure to account for confounding variables."
However, some studies do show that "Children reared in homosexual households are more likely to experience sexual confusion, practice homosexual behavior, and engage in sexual experimentation. Adolescents and young adults who adopt the homosexual lifestyle, like their adult counterparts, are at increased risk of mental health problems, including major depression, anxiety disorder, conduct disorder, substance dependence, and especially suicidal ideation and suicide attempts."

Queer is a workd the homosexuals want breeders to use. It is there using of the terms "Queernation" and "Queerfolk" and "Queernews" and "Queerissues".
It is like the word "gay". Homosexual is the accurate and descriptive term which also identifies the entire homosexual issue is based on a private sexual act that should remain private.

It doesn't take a brain surgeon--or a pediatrician--to figure that out: it's basic common sense. Unfortunately, basic common sense is something that is sorely lacking in today's society.
Indeed. However, professionals in one field, such as medicine, often rely on the "expertise" of "professionals" in other fields, such as psychology, when making policy or issuing statements to the general public.

Vatican launches counter-strike against gay marriage, adoption
Amid increasing worldwide initiatives to grant legal recognition to same-sex unions and a growing acceptance of gay and lesbian people and their parenting, the Vatican called on global lawmakers to offer "clear and emphatic opposition" to efforts to codify "gay marriages," which it said were contrary to human nature and ultimately harmful to society.
"Not even in a remote analogous sense do homosexual unions fulfill the purpose for which marriage and family deserve specific categorical recognition," the document said. "On the contrary, there are good reasons for holding that such unions are harmful to the proper development of human society, especially if their impact on society were to increase," it said.
In a 12-page document released July 31, the Vatican also expressed alarm at moves to allow gay couples to adopt children, which it said would be a form of "violence" against children and "gravely immoral."

It seems to me, Ed, that the drive to homosexual family formation has three wellsprings, which I list in what I am guessing is their order of (declining) importance,
1. The desire for a posterity, which is shared with the straight breeder community,
2. More equivocation, i.e. recrimination of the "we can so too!" variety, about gays' typically (in the past) not forming families, and therefore not participating in a large segment of the rest of society's life; and as a further rebuke to, and polemical jamming of, straight society's messages about values, child-rearing and family formation,
3. The desire for trophies of a particular kind, as an extension of other forms of gay display.
I think the latter two (skewed) motives could be counted among the "confounding variables" mentioned in my quote.

Maybe but gay males in general would and still think their crap doesn't stink, literally. Their superiority complexes are nauseating and if they could (reverse sexist bigots)would ship women who are worthless in their mysogynistic minds off to some deserted island. Gay men cut their own noses off to spite their faces. They even crap on each other, literally and figuratively. Preening, prancing uppity snooty little queens. Think French males in the 1700's with their white wigs and rosey cheeks (both facial and anal), effeminate over load. Blech!

I forgot to add, gay men really don't need hate mongering from christians and conservatives. They do enough hate mongering among and towards each other. Just go to a Bette Midler concert and watch the fur fly. Gay men are thee most cattiest beings on earth.
