Liberals Will Get Louder When They Lose (Rush: "This Is All About Hillary In 2008.")
RushLimbaugh.com ^ | 6/3/04 | Rush Limbaugh

RUSH: We had a question at the end of the program yesterday, we had a good question, and I didn't have time because the program ended. I didn't have time to address this in great detail, but a caller wanted to know what the Democrats are going to, what the liberals are going to do, if they lose the election. If Bush wins, what will they do? And I thought that was a great question because I'm sure that many of you -- and I used to think this, too, so that's why I wanted to address it.

Back in my naïve days -- when I thought winners knew who they were and losers knew who they were, and that the losers then regrouped and tried to come back another day to win -- I thought that I knew what would happen in a situation like this, and I was wrong. I thought, for example, I was naïve as recently as '94. I was naïve as recently as ten years ago when the Democrats lost the house in '94. I thought that, okay, they would realize they've lost and they would assume the position of minority and that the Republicans would assume the position of majority and start leading and so forth. But I was naïve. I forgot that there had been 40 years of formative experiences.

The Democrats just couldn't overnight shift their attitudes from winners and leaders to losers and being members of the minority, and they didn't. And I sort of expected them to understand that they had just been rejected by the American people and to take that and maybe do some self-examination; take a look deep inside themselves, figure out what was wrong, come back another day to try to get back the love and affection of the American people. But that's not what happened. The liberals did not blame themselves; they blamed everybody else, including the voters, and they got angrier and angrier because they're there for one reason, and that's power. And so I have learned, my friends, that if they lose, they're not going to go away and re-strategerize and come back another day. It's going to get even worse. They're already planning on losing. That's the bottom line. They're already figuring on losing. Don't forget, losing is part of the secret equation. If Kerry doesn't lose this, do you realize what it means for Hillary in 2008? He's got to lose. Wait till you hear what happened to Kerry on the campaign trail in Tampa yesterday. It was worse than it was here at the port of Palm Beach. This is pathetic. He pauses for the crowd to applaud, nobody applauds, there was hardly anybody there in the first place. His speech was dull, and people on his staff were muttering under their breath about how ineffective and dull he is. It's here in the stack and I'll get to it. But there's also this.

[Atlanta Journal-Constitution: Liberal Groups Meet to Plan Beyond Election] "Thousands of activists gathered Wednesday for a conference aimed at forging a new 'progressive' political majority beyond this fall's presidential election. 'We're leveling the playing field,' said MoveOn.org President Wes Boyd. Boyd was among the first speakers at the three-day conference, which has brought together dozens of liberal groups under the banner 'Take Back America.'

"Today, the conference will hear from George ... and Howard Dean, the one-time Democratic presidential contender whose campaign broke ground with its use of the Internet. The conference, sponsored by the Washington-based Campaign for America's Future, is examining ways to catch up with the network of think tanks, public policy groups and political organizations that the conservative movement has built over the last three decades. 'A change in the White House is important, but we've got to build a progressive majority,' said Roger Hickey, co-director of Campaign for America. 'We need to be organizing for the long haul.'

"Former Clinton White House pollster Stan Greenberg shared some of his recent polling data, which suggests that voters favor Democratic candidate John Kerry over Bush on most issues by double digits, with the exception of fighting terrorism, where Bush led Kerry by 4 percentage points. NAACP Chairman Julian Bond, while delivering a scathing critique of Bush and the Republican Party, warned that Democrats should not count on the enthusiastic support of minorities if they do not stand strongly for liberal policies. 'Too often (Democrats) are not an opposition, they're an amen corner,' Bond told the conference. 'With some notable exceptions, they have been absent without leave from this battle for America's soul. When one party is shameless, the other party cannot afford to be spineless.'"

Now, how many of you look at the Democrat Party and see it that way? I mean, if there's a party that's soulless, it's the Democratic Party. If there are people, by definition, who are soulless, it is liberals! By definition. You know, souls come from God. No, you can't go there! You look at the trouble they're having. The European Union is trying to put together a Constitution. There's some people over there want God in it. It's all falling apart. Those elitist socialists, the friends of John Kerry, don't want God anywhere near the Constitution or anything else having to do with the formal official structure of the EU.

I mean, I don't know what Democrat Party Julian Bond is looking at. Democrat Party is not an opposition? It's not an opposition? It is an amen corner? That means, for those of you in Rio Linda, that, as far as he's concerned, the Democrats just echoing what the Republicans want to do. So there's a whole different viewpoint that some of these people have. But the point is this is all about 2008 and Hillary. That's what this conference is about. Don't make it about anything else. It's not about this majority stuff for the future; it's not about moving beyond the presidential election this year. It's not about this, that. It's about Hillary in 2008. MoveOn.org is Hillary. George Soros is Hillary. This is all about Hillary in 2008. Mark my words. That's why no matter what happens in this election, they're not going away, not going to act like they've lost anything. They're going to stay just as mean, just as angry. They'll probably get even louder.

Moveon.org and George Soros are Hillary's surrogates, doing her dirty work. I'll bet she has sent them out to do what she would do publically, even she has had moments, but that doesn't get any media exposure.

Hillary meanwhile will "keep her nose clean", so to speak, so as not to screw up her chances at a run for the White House in 2008 after completing her term in the Senate.

I picture Kerry standing up at the convention to say, "The Clintons have stabbed me in the back, so I have decided not to run." Actually, it would be even better to have Teresa do it for him.

It's all about Hiltery.

Two scenarios;

Kerry is so pathetic he does not clinch the Democrat nomination on the first round...Hitlery to the rescue.

Kerry loses big time in the Presidential election...Hitlery in '08.

Big problem for Hitlery and her democrat/socialist/communist traitorous liberal scum is that America's Conservatives are waking up and becoming active. And her private propaganda machine, the "mainstream" media is continuing to lose it's hold on the public. Hitlery will not win.

We'll never get rid of Hitlery's ilk. But we can chase them back under the rocks where they belong.

Hillary is our *dream* opponent in 2008.

She would go down in flames so huge that it would definitely contribute to global warming, if only for a little while.

The next Bush admin. should push the 900 FBI files theft, continuely during the 4 years. Push the courts to show their true colors. (Totally lacking the integrity to do their job.)

What worries me is the Chinese will be trying to influence events to help the Hillary crowd. The Dems propaganda techniques are standard Communist party tactics familiar the former Soviets and the current Chinese: false charges repeated over and over until people take them as true.

No doubt about that,

In her introduction,(Hillary)Clinton told the crowd "we need people like George Soros, who is fearless and willing to step up when it counts."

I have absolutely no fear of Hillary. I really hope she runs. I think even Bob Dole could beat her.

The Media would sell Hillary as a war hero -- and insinuate that there is no definite proof that Bob Dole actually served.

Hillary may not beat Bob Dole, but the media will trash Bob Dole to protect Hillary.

This scenario is already playing out. There are some Freepers who act as if there's no link between Hillary and moveon.org or George Soros, quite the contrary, there is visible evidence.

Ping on #18. It won't quite do for the kids to carry on a FReep out on Main Street, but it might look nice on some pickup bumpber stickers (you know - the "Southern voteers" Howard Dean loved to profile and hate . .)

LoL!
