THEY are on to you!!

Mine said "Renaissance Ideal". But I don't find it on the Thinking types page - phooey. For all I know, the "Renaissance Ideal" is a chubby redheaded chick in dire straits...

ArGgHHHH! THEY **ARE** ON TO US!!!

I find personally that since finding the web, I am far less likely to read a book and far more likely to read the same sorts of information online.

The internet really is in someways the logical existention of a personal library. And unlike a realitively static library, one can get the most up to date information on any topic imaginable.

I got the Musical Thinker as well. I don't know if I consider that to be an accurate description for me though.

You are a Logical-Mathematical Thinker

I love it. And I'm a woman. It's the map reading, no doubt. If I only had a gps, I'd be geo-caching. Should I post my geek code? No, that'd be too revealing. LOL!

Interpersonal thinkers:
Like to think about other people, and try to understand them
Recognise differences between individuals and appreciate that different people have different perspectives
Make an effort to cultivate effective relationships with family, friends and colleagues

Like interpersonal thinkers, Leonardo had lots of friends and contacts, and was a popular figure at the Italian court. Other Interpersonal thinkers include
Winston Churchill, Mother Teresa, William Shakespeare

Careers which suit Interpersonal thinkers include
Politician, Psychologist, Nurse, Counsellor, Teacher

You are a Naturalist Thinker
Naturalist Thinkers:
Like to understand the natural world, and the living beings that inhabit it
have an aptitude for communicating with animals
You try to understand patterns of life and natural forces

Like other Naturalist thinkers, Leonardo longed to spend time in the countryside. He spent hours watching birds to understand how they flew. Other Naturalist thinkers include
Charles Darwin, Jane Goodall, Johnny Morris, David Attenborough

Careers which suit Naturalist thinkers include
Biologist, Meteorologist, Forester, Farmer, Astronomer, Alternative therapist

Great point. The same holds true for me. Did you ever realize the volume of what you read on line is much greater? Sometimes I will print out an article to share, and I am amazed at how many pages there are. (and for the smarties out there, no, it's not large font!)

"You are a sick twist who ought to be under close professional supervision. Please turn yourself into the local authorities immediately."

Dang it, I hate ambiguity - was this supposed to be positive or negative?

Noticed your profile and thought you'd like this: Goodday, Bruce! Oh, Hello Bruce! How are you Bruce? A bit crooked, Bruce. Where's Bruce? He's not 'ere, Bruce. Blimey, it's hot in here, Bruce. Hot as a monkey's bum! That's a strange expression, Bruce. Well Bruce, I heard the Prime Minister use it. "It's hot enough to boil a monkey's bum in here, your Majesty," he said and she smiled quietly to herself. She's a good Sheila, Bruce, and not at all stuck up. Here! Here's the boss-fellow now! 'Ow are you, Bruce? Goodnight Bruce! Bruce. Hello Bruce. Bruce. How are you, Bruce? Goodnight Bruce. Gentleman, I'd like to introduce man from Pommey Land who is joinin' us this year in the philosophy department at the University of Wallamalloo. (Everyone) Goodnight! Hello. Michael Baldwin, Bruce. Michael Baldwin, Bruce. Michael Baldwin, Bruce. Is your name not Bruce? No, it's Michael. That's going to cause a little confusion. Mind if we call you "Bruce" to keep it clear? Gentlemen, I think we better start the faculty meeting, before we start, though, I'd like to ask the padre for a prayer. Oh Lord, we beseech Thee, Amen!! Amen! Crack a tube! (Bottles opening) Now I call upon Bruce to officially welcome Mr. Baldwin to the philosophy faculty. I'd like to welcome the pommey bastard to God's own Earth! And remind him that we don't like stuck-up sticky-beaks here. (Everyone) Hear, hear! Well spoken, Bruce! Bruce here teaches classical philosophy, Bruce there teaches Haegelian philosophy, and Bruce here teaches logical positivism. And is also in charge of the sheep dip. What's New-Bruce going to teach? New Bruce will be teaching political science, Machiavelli, Benton, Lockholm, Sackly, Millbo, Hasset, and Bernerd. Those are all cricketers! Aww, spit! Hails of derisive laughter, Bruce! (Everyone) 'Straylya, 'Straylia, 'Straylia, 'Straylya, we love you! Amen!! Another tube! (Bottles opening) Any questions? New-Bruce, are you a Pooftah? Are you a Pooftah? No! No. Right, I just want to remind you of the faculty rules: Rule One! (Everyone) No Pooftahs! Rule Two, no member of the faculty is to mal-treat the others in any way at all.. if there's anybody watching. Rule Three? (Everyone) No Pooftahs!! Rule Four, now this term, I don't want to catch anybody... not drinking. Rule Five, (Everyone) No Pooftahs! Rule Six, there is NO.... Rule Six. Rule Seven, (Everyone) No Pooftahs!! Right, that concludes the readin' of the rules, Bruce. This here's the wattle, the emblem of our land. You can stick it in a bottle, you can hold it in your hand. Amen! Immanuel Kant was a real piss-ant who was very rarely stable. Heideggar, Heideggar was a boozy beggar who could think you under the table. David Hume could out-consume Schoppenhauer and Hegel. And Whittgenstein was a beery swine who was just as sloshed as Schlegel. There's nothing Nieizsche couldn't teach 'ya 'bout the raising of the wrist. Socrates, himself, was permanently pissed. John Stewart Mill, of his own free will On half a pint of shanty was particularly ill. Plato they say could stick it away, Half a crate of whiskey every day. Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle, And Hoppes was fond of his dram. And Rene Descartes was a drunken fart. "I drink, therefore I am." Yes, Socrates himself is particularly missed; A lovely little thinker, but a bugger when he's pissed.

Personally, I think it made too much of my love of natural beauty and gardening and not enough of my equal fascination with most things science. Also, it shows nothing of my creativity...Art is my love and my life. It isn't even mentioned.

I got that I was a linguistic thinker, and then musical thinker. Wow -- spot on -- am a writer by trade, have written since I was an itty kid, and though am not a disciplined (anymore) musician, at one time used to happily practice piano two-plus hours per day. Also started playing violin at age seven. Music affects me deeply.

Interesting to see that so many folks on this board are logical thinkers! Cool.

Well, it's obvious it's pulp science and grossly inaccurate. My husband came up "interpersonal thinker." I can attest that he isn't. LOL. But such a nice diversion.
