A man amongst men, and a American to the end.

I'll never forget the good that he stood for, the great things he achieved, and how the liberal press hated him for it.

He has escaped his earthly body and is resting in God's arms...May all who loved him receive comfort.

I am grateful for his Morning in America attitude and his tough as nails ability to stay the course in the cold war and win it..I can see the young people that he inspired and am so grateful for the energy and hope he inspired in all of us.

He was a truly great American...

"He has escaped his earthly body and is resting in God's arms"

He is being quoted on CNN now about "slipping the surly bonds of earth and touching the face of God" (talking about the shuttle astronauts).

That's true about him now.

I never cry, but I'm close to it now, even as I rejoice that he is with his Father now.

I'm glad that I got to experience a true American hero/legend as president of the US.

He was the first president I voted for. He inspired me, made me laugh, brought tears to my eyes and reminded me how damn proud I am of my country and what it means to be an American.

He made us strong again. He showed us how to believe in ourselves again.

God bless you, Ronald Reagan! You are an American hero and one of the only heroes I've ever had. We were lucky you chose to serve. The world is a better place because of you. Thank you!
