I wonder if Jane Wyman will come to the funeral?

I'm surprised that I'd never noticed before, but I was watching something that showed some footage of Maureen Reagan, and I was amazed at how much she looked like her Mother, Jane Wyman, especially around her eyes!

I would be willing to drive to D.C. to pay my respects........except for one thing......my fear of driving in such a massive city

So park your car at an outlying station, and take the Metro into town!

I know it's late, and I'm tired, but is it me, or was that article in the Movie Database strangely written? It was almost as though some of the lines were out of sync.

Probably. Writing skills have gone down the toilet ever since the Liberals changed the education system in this country.

Did Jane every remarry?

Not entirely sure, to tell the truth.

According to that list she left Ronald Reagan for a relationship with Lew Ayers.

After being alone with him for ten years, out of the public spotlight, slowly, quietly watching him go down hill, I tend to feel that she may have thought that most American's just forgot and just went about their lives. This has got to make her feel extremely proud.

For ten long years, the country had been completely separated from him. All understood why this had to be.

Not only did America not forget him, the American people missed him all the more. We know the old saying, about when there's true love, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Now that the people can finally be close to President Reagan again - if only to say goodbye - they have voted with their feet and their hearts. Nancy can know with no uncertaintly, how much everyone else love her Ronnie too.

Please check with your local funeral homes to see if they have a guest book for you to sign

They are having a book signing for President Reagan at the State Capitol in Minnesota. I'm not sure which day.

I think they can keep an accurate count just by how many bus trips they made

They merely have to note how many "Thank You" cards they handed out, that would be easily the most accurate count. I heard 106,000 also.

It was reported that the communications director at the Library said that he was confident that the people would still be showing up by the tens of thousands, for days on end, if time would have permitted.

He had been in the room with Nancy, Ron, and Patti. They stood up to stand by the coffin after consulting with one another. Michael was not included. He finally stood up at his chair looking flustered. Escorted by the minister, Nancy, Ron, and Patti left--walking right past Michael without making eye contact or saying anything. They left separately with the minister escorting them out the door. Michael appeared to be going to leave in a different vehicle. Minutes later he came back into the room and stood at the casket alone.

It appeared that Michael was on the outside of this little family group looking in. The whole thing looked automatic as if this kind of group dynamic was fairly typical. I felt sorry for Michael.

I watched this twice on C-SPAN to see if what I thought I saw was actually the case. Very strange.

I just hope that that 125,000 people in Washington is a teeny bit higher....say......700,000 or so.

I could go for a "Million Reagan March".
