Thanks for the map, I downloaded it to my 'puter. The sad reality is that all those states in yellow should be lumped in with the "NO RIGHTS" Red States.

Yep, as a California girl I have to agree. And, it seems the yellow states are usually the ones they threaten.

But, we have our ways around some things!! (so note to terrorists, do you feel lucky today?) Even in California? Don't count on it. :-)

I'm a yellow state.

You are right about no rights.

Even if you are able to have a gun, you can't carry. The only legal way to transport it outside the house is with it taken apart. Part has to be in the car itself while the other part has to be in the trunk.

Since I was brought up with "gun is bad", I tried having a relative (retired vet) start taking my son to the shooting range. He ended up with a $200 dollar noise ordinance ticket.

We are still trying to figure this one out.
