Kerry`s version of the Second Amendment is that Americans only have the right to bear arms.
That verbal sleight of hand fits right in with what the ban-the-gun crowd wants--a future declaration by a Kerry-packed U.S. Supreme Court that the Second Amendment was never intended as an individual right, but that it merely allows the states to muster forces to serve in the National Guard.

Proof of that trickery came during Kerry`s Senate speech supporting the Clinton gun ban on semi-automatic firearms.

Isn't the "Clinton gun ban on semi-automatic firearms" the self-same "Assault Weapons Bill" that Bush has pledged to sign if it is renewed?

Not much of a 'choice' evidenced there, if you ask me, Wayne.
Could even be termed as a "verbal sleight of hand".

I'll worry about Bush once an identical version gets passed by the House. If it does, then Bush has to figure how many single issue voters won't vote for him because he signs it. I'll say he grows in office, and he changes his mind. We'll see.
