I took out the domain name "TributeToRonaldReagan.com" today (it will take about 96 hours to propogate across the web). It is my permanent tribute to President Ronald Wilson Reagan...the greatest President in my life time, in the 20th centruy, and among the two top presidents of all time, second IMHO, only to George Washington.

There are a lot of pics on this site on the gallery page and on the memorial page. Please browse through them and see what you think.

I also have the transcripts of most of his major speeches, and have included all of the transcripts of the speeches, remarks and eulogies given while he was in state, at his funeral and at the burial.

I hope you all enjoy it.

Jeff

Couldn't help myself, I had to do this and get it out there. Writing on Volume V of my series had to take a back seat for the last three days.

For all those who prayed together on the Reagan prayer thread we had going last week; this new site is one of the things it has motivated me to do.

Nice job - thanks.

How about another section - Humour. It could contain for example the quotes and stories that got a chuckle from the congretation at the memorial service. That sort of thing.

Examples that come to mind:

There's a bunch more at Kurtzman's Ronald Reagan Quotes

EXCELLETN idea! I will start working on that section tomorrow or Monday! Too late (early) now!

Thanks for the idea...in addition to humnor, compassion is also a good one. Like the story of the little boy and the goldfish when he met Grobachev at the large residence in Geneva. It seems a little boy who lived there but was displaced by the meetings had gold fish that needed looking after and the President took it upon himself to do so. When one died in his care, he made sure another just like it was replaced before they left, and he then personally wrote the boy and expressed his sorrow, but let him know he had replaced it.

The leader of the free world was not too busy to help a little kid. A great man that!

You might want to include all the wonderful books which have been written about Reagan in the last couple of years. You could probably set it up to buy through Amazon.

What a marvelous tribute. Wish I had thought of it myself.

I am sure Ronald Reagan would be deeply touched and greatly honored.

I've got a couple of his "letter" books and they are very revealing about who is really was as a person. I'm not sure America was worthy of him.

"about who is really was as a person"

Sorry .. that was supposed to read: "about who he really was as a person"

My tongue got caught in my eye tooth and I couldn't see what I was saying.
