This is a catch-up Dose. Captions will provide the summary of events. Photos will be in no particular order other than as they appear on Yahoo News.
Welcome to Free Republic!
I saw something about Nancy not really sharing her husband's faith. But the ceremonies included God sooo much, and she loved her husband so very much, I cannot imagine her not having a personal relationship with Jesus.
You will find that The Dose, and Free Republic in general, allow you a forum for your feelings and opinions.
Thank you for joining.
Thank you, Fawnn! I'm SO glad to be here among my Freeper loved ones!
Ron is married? I didn't hear them mention that or see anyone identified as his family there.
Did you see that Maureen's (apparently "last") husband was there, with his fiance'? Nancy wanted to invite them, and I thought that was a nice gesture.
How hard for you, being penalized for your mother and father's relationship . . .
Well it sure is amazing to hear the loud purr our little kitten makes. My MIL got a cat from the pound once who could not meow. Still doesn't.
Thank you, Miss Marple! I've long admired your posts! My heart has been joined to Free Republic & the Dosers for a long, long time!
I just had a cute thought. If Michael had more political experience, we could have a wonderful thing!
Michael Reagan and Jeb Bush ticket for 2008.
Reagan / Bush...one more time! :-)
The Left would absolutely DIE! LOL!
I love it! Wouldn't that be great!
Welcome to the Dose!
Well there you are! Hey guys, meet Kitty Mittens. I met her on the Poppy Parachute jump thread earlier today. She has been hanging out here at the Dose for ages and just jumped in. She has been praying with us and for us and loving us and we didn't even know it. Make her most welcome home.
WELCOME! I've said this before--I don't know how you can lurk for long without "talking"! :-) I could only stand it a day or two and just HAD to get in and talk. Glad you've joined us.
One of the reporters said, as Ron leaned over and kissed the head of the brunette next to him, that he was kissing his wife.
Oh--that other lady at the coffin was Ron's wife? I wondered who she was, but hadn't seen Ron with anyone all week. Michael certainly did show compassion to her, too.
And Michael and his wife and kids had that little smile on their faces at the coffin--as they know they'll miss their father/grandfather, but have joy and confidence in knowing they'll see him again.
Welcome Kitty Mittens!
I know you've been lurking for a while (I read it on another thread). I'm so glad and consider ourselves blessed that you've come on board at last! :-)
The Hobbit Hole is another really nice place on FR to get away from Flame Wars. Being a Tolkien fan helps, but is in no way necessary.
Thank you, Gretchen, so much!
What a wonderful idea!
Thank you, my sweet sister in Christ. I'll always remember your kindness to me on the other thread and on this one. :)
I'm pretty shy! Thank you so much for your welcome!
