SCOTT'S FISHY FURY
By HOWARD BREUER
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
June 15, 2004 -- REDWOOD CITY, Calif. Scott Peterson hotly cursed and threw a flashlight after police grilled him about his suspicious fishing trip the day his pregnant wife, Laci, disappeared, one officer testified yesterday.
"I asked him what he was fishing for," Modesto Detective Matthew Spurlock told rapt jurors during the start of the third week of Peterson's murder trial.
"He had this blank look for a second or so, his eyes shifted a bit. And he didn't really answer the question.
"I asked what he was using for bait, and I got the same kind of response . . . this blank shifting," Spurlock said. "He couldn't really answer. Then he said, 'a silver lure,' and he held his hands about 7 to 8 inches apart."
Spurlock said that when he then asked Peterson to leave the house, he watched as the fertilizer salesman cursed through gritted teeth and threw a flashlight to the ground.
"It sounded like 'f - - -,' like it was being said out of frustration," the cop said............

REDWOOD CITY -- The judge in Scott Peterson's double-murder trial refused to declare a mistrial Monday over surprise testimony about Peterson's use of an obscenity shortly after his pregnant wife disappeared.
Superior Court Judge Alfred Delucchi gently chastised prosecutor Rick Distaso for pulling a fast one, but concluded that it was not a gross violation of trial procedure.
Also Monday, Sharon Rocha cried as she looked away from a large screen showing remains of her daughter, Laci Peterson. Minutes later, pictures of her smiling daughter splashed on the screen and Rocha quietly got up and exited the courtroom.
And two Modesto police officers said Scott Peterson seemed caught off-guard when first asked about his solo fishing trip.
Sparks flew after lead defense attorney Mark Geragos asked Delucchi for a mistrial, in a motion that drew snickers from the audience.........

June 14 (BCN) A furious Mark Geragos asked for a mistrial this morning in the Scott Peterson double murder trial after prosecutors failed to inform him that a police officer overheard Peterson use an expletive on the night his wife Laci went missing. .........

Scotty truly believes he is G-d's gift to women and that he isn't accountable to anyone...
Not saying I AGREE with the purported defense, or that it's a winner, just that it is what it is.
Wasn't Geragos in that 60's folk trio, Peter Paul and Mary? He sure looks like one of them.....
good morning RB..thanks for the pings...seems we are going to see some bad acting out of MG as he tries to distort the truth and cling to anything that will create doubt, all to show Snotts family they are gettng their moneys worth...six figures = fire and brimstone.....7 figures (million bucks) = blood sweat and tears !! who ever said bad actors don't rake in the bucks !
Let the jury MULLET over for awhile.
Best thing in the world is having tv on my computer room.
Geragos opening statement: (page 15) "They didn't find any blood. They found fish emulsion in the boat."

Interesting- Yet, when asked what kind of fish Snott said: "I don't know".. So how did fish emulsion get in the boat, fish emulsion you can buy it in gardening stores as a fertilizer..
Try this...

I read this -about the love interest-on the front of some tabloid at the grocery store yesterday, but I didn't believe it.
NOW I DO!!!
What a PIG!!!
I'm waiting for Geragos to ask for a mistrial claiming that Sharon's frequent exits in tears from the courtroom are tainting the jury against his client. He's such scum I wouldn't be surprised if he did it, I'm only surprised he hasn't done it already.
Page 21--Geragos Opening statement says:
"She (Laci) was worried about getting anywhere near that liquid fertilizer, so she went next door to use the bathroom so she went next door to use the bathroom in one of the other warehouses." - a woman there talked to her.
So maybe she didn't see the boat because the warehouse was filled with liquid fertilizer-Fish emulsion?
I wonder if fish emulsion could have been used to throw off scent dogs?
And then one starts to wonder if Geragos will put up those autopsy pictures on any flimsy pretext to drive her from the courtroom so he can more easily make such a motion....
Pinz
I never heard this before: Scott cursing when cops asked him to leave his home during the search. I can't even believe there IS a trial. The circumstantial evidence is overwhelming.
Whew. My entire house is messy, so I will never look suspicious when the police have to search it!
"Moves Like A REAL WORM Automatically"
LOL!
I am sure you will agree with me: Scott is a hunter. A psychopathic hunter. He finds a girl that catches his interest and he tries to reel them in (accidentally fitting into the running fish joke on the thread - do I get any credit?). The obsession is to get them into putty in his fingers like Mommy Dearest was.
He probably hates them once they finally trust and love him, then it's on to the next one. He was probably able to control his mother too much and too early, and despises anyone who falls thus under his spell.
But he loves the thrill of the chase. And he has to be #1. Connor was about to move in on his territory. I fully believe Connor was the intended victim all along and Laci was just the vessel to get to him.
>>>>the side-scan sonar may have actually shown the label on the remnant of pants that the corpse was wearing<<<<
This bit of information sounds familiar, must have read it somewhere.
I don't recall that...
